Chapter 10

Kendra

I've been cheating on Brian with this guy named Andra. We met in Chicago at this club. He told me he lived in Florida and I've been living here for years. So we hooked up and he asked me to be his girl and of course I said yea.

In Chicago when JazMyne and them came to save the girl he kidnapped I was there but I wasn't going to be involved with it. I stayed upstairs watching TV with my headphones in my ears while they did what they did.

It was real peaceful up where I was until polices bussed in my room screaming at me like I did sum wrong. They handcuffed me and took me to the police station. I was confused on why I was there.

But after I was released and brought back to the house everyone was gone so I packed my shit and went back to Florida. Once I was there I went back to Brian but was blowing Andra's phone up. He wouldn't answer.

Yesterday he finally called me and told me to come to his house. Once I was there I saw a U-haul truck. I ran into the house and saw Andra carrying a box.

"W-Where you going?"

"Ta Mississippi" he said dryly.

"Why? We are together and I love you"

"Bitch I only asked you ta be my girl cuz you gave the best head" he said.

"Are you serious?" I slapped him

"Kendra if Youion want cho ass beat I suggest you get the fuck out my face and stop putting yo hands on me" he said putting on his Jordan's.

I slapped him again. He stood up and slapped me hard I fell to the ground. He got on top me and punched me in my eye.

"Nah I just told you ta keep yo muthafuckin hands off me!!!" He yelled.

I was on the ground crying until he grabbed my hair and threw me out the house.

"Get the fuck outta here don't call or text me again and I mean dat shit. If you do I will kill you" he said walking away.

I got up and ran to my truck and sped off. I went to a hotel because I couldn't let Brian see me like this. I got up to my room and took a long hot shower and cried. I just couldn't believe what just happened.

The next morning I had to pick London up from school. Brian was supposed to pick him up but he had to handle business at work. I applied makeup around my eye and walked out.

I ran into Hakeem again and he wants me to meet Kaden but I'm just not ready. I'm not mentally prepared to do something like that.

Once I arrived at home I parked my truck and noticed Brian car in the garage. I got out and walked inside the house. I stopped in my tracks when I saw Andra and Brian sitting at the dining room table drinking beers. I looked around and saw about twenty of Brian boys scattered everywhere.

"What-What are you doing here?"

"London go to your room and turn on something don't come down unless I tell you too. Zay go up there with him" Brian said and London ran upstairs

"Me and Andra had a very big serious situation dealing with my sister being in a coma" he looked at Andra

"But he's not here for that. He has informed me that you was at the house the time this situation happened..." He paused and sipped his beer

"And he also told me YOUVE BEEN FUCKING AROUND WITH HIM BEFORE THE SHIT HAPPENED!!" he yelled causing everyone including me to not move or say anything

"AFTER EVERYTHING IVE DONE FOR YOU, YOU GONE CHEAT ON ME?!" he yelled

"ANSWER ME!" he yelled and I flinched
