CHAPTER 14

Wade

I paniced when Angelease called me to tell me she told Lilac about what happened between us because I turned her down I ran to Marie and Matt. I got into the living room "Marie... Matt.. I cheated on Lilac. After we fought..." Marie gasped stood up and slapped the shit outta me. I looked at her again and rotated my jaw "I deserved that." Marie bit her lip and nodded "You did you bastard. Now we have to call her." She took out her phone and dialed Lilac's number. The phone rang but she didnt answer, Marie, Matt and me all tried calling her on and off for four hours. Then we got into my car and I drove over to her place quickly when Marie told me "We have to go find her before she does something stupid." When we pulled up to her driveway her car was missing. Marie quickly rushed from the car and me and Matt followed behind her. She found the spare key under the door mat. She opened the door with shaky hands and walked in quickly she found a note on the counter and read it to us. We quickly piled back into the car and drove around the neighborhood and by town. We found her tiny white Honda. Marie shouted "Pull over! I see her car." I quickly pulled over my tires squealing. I jumped out of the car first and ran over to her car. "Fuck! She isnt in it!" We all started walking quickly down the road, Shouting "Lilac! Baby!" over and over again for an hour when I saw blonde and white I ran over to it and found Lilac laying unconcious half in the woods and half not. I quickly checked her pulse and sighed in relief when I felt it pulse under my fingers. I picked her up and carried her into my car. Marie and Matt joined up with me and Marie cried a little bit when she saw Lie. I tossed Matt my keys and sat in the back with Lilac laying across my lap. I brushed some of her hair from her face admiring how beautiful she was. Like a princess. In that moment I hoped and prayed that she would forgive me when she woke up. We got to our house and Jared Martin, William Grey and Mark Chang where all there when I came in the door with Lilac laying limp in my arms Will immediately jumped up to help. Together we got her laid on the couch and she was regaining consciousness. I turned to the guys and said "Thank you all so much but I'd like to be alone with her when she wakes up." Just in case she screamed at me. I thought to myself. They all left with grumbles about me being whipped. Yeah right I doubted I even had a girlfriend anymore so I was probably no longer whipped. Lilac came to and I leaned forward on the coffee table to grab her hand. She looked dazed for a minute then seemed to remember something because she snatched her hand from mine and shot me a dirty looking glare. Yup. Definitely didnt have a girlfriend Matt and Marie quickly excused themselves and I said before she could speak "Baby you dont know how sorry I am. I really am. Please hear me out. Ill tell you anything you wanna know. Ill tell you everything." She glared, her expression could have frozen hell. "Fuck off." I sighed desperately and ran my hand through my hair. "I did know my biological parents. Their names were Elena and Garett. As a child my mama was real depressed. My daddy drank alot and when he did he'd beat her. One day when I was 6 she gave me her real diamond engagement ring and told me to give it to the 'One' Then a month later she killed herself. She overdosed and left me alone with my daddy. He called me a little bastard, piece of shit, said It was my fault my mama killed herself. He would beat me around he use to use me as an ashtray then one day when I was 7 he didn't show up to the bus stop so I had to walk home alone. When I got inside I found him dead in a pile of his own liquor and vomit. He drank himself to death. Then Matts parents were nice enough to adopt me and I grew up with them. I attended mutiple schools because I had such a bad additude that I got exspelled. I got into lots of fights and I was depressed. My aunt in NC. The one I lived with is a therapist and she tries to help me... I have a twin brother that I was separated with at birth and I accidentally killed his girlfriend and unborn child in a car accident. Some moron smashed into the side of my car that she was sitting in. And killed her instantly. Um.. Matts parents which are now mine are named Evangline and Liam. Evangline is 7 months pregnant with me and Matts baby sister Sophie. And I love you." I looked up at her to find tears streaming down her face and she jumped up from the couch "Wade you dont understand how much you confessing everything to me means to me. And im awfully sorry about your parents... But you have to understand that you cheated on me and you have to have known that all of that especially that last part about loving me was too late. Wade I loved you too." I began to cry "Loved?" My voice broke. She sighed "I dont know how I feel about you right now. I'm just so hurt. I think we should break up." Her voice cracked on the last part as she broke into a hysterical fit of heart wrenching sobs. I squeezed my eyes closed as tears leaked from them "Yeah I had a feeling that my timing was too late especially after I cheated on you... But I love you Lilac... Please dont give up on me.." She sobbed more and louder then she collected her purse and ran from my house. Leaving me heart broken and alone. I watched her retreating figure and wondered what the hell have I done?
