CHAPTER 9

Lilac

Me and Wade walked into the hospital room where my dad was staying. He had wires from his wrist and arm. He had a big bruise on his forehead, under his lip and his eye. His eyes were open and he was sitting while a woman sat in the visitor chair holding his hand and weeping slightly. I narrowed my eyes and went to storm in when Wade grabbed my arm "Lie... Dont." I glared at him "No. You can wait our here until she leaves." Wade looked down at his feet. He shuffled them "Fine." I pushed the door opened and smiled when it slammed into the wall with a loud resounding thud. The lady gasped lightly as I stormed in my heels clicked on the ground. I glared at her "And who the fuck are you?" My dad sat up "Lilac! Be respectful this is Morgan." Morgan looked a me and smiled "Hi nice to meet you." I looked at her with distaste. "Hello. Goodbye." My dad sighed and Morgan said "No its fine Stan. I understand. I'll talk to you later." She stood up and I grabbed her arm before she walked pasted me "Listen and listen good bitch. Leave my dad alone. We just lost my mom a year ago and your a real downgrade. A skank where my mother was a saint." Morgan covered her mouth with her hand and cried from my harsh words. When she left Wade walked in "Lie...? Whatd you say to her? She left cryin." I walked up to him and pressed a kiss lightly to his mouth when my dad cleared his throat "So this is Wade?" His voice holding evident distaste. I looked at him "Yes." Then I softened "How are you doing dad?" He sighed "Im doing okay Squirt. I was leaving from Morgan's house going to your graduation when a car hit me out of nowhere. Im sorry I missed it." I smiled at him "Its okay." Wade held out his hand to my dad "Hello, Im Wade Pointsetta." My dad nodded his head and shook Wade's hand "I'm Stanley Jones. Nice to meet you." Wade smiled and I grinned. Thank god they were getting along! We talked with my dad for 30 minutes then we left. We got back in the car and I sat with my head in my hands completely exhausted. Wade leaned over and patted my back gently. I smiled at him and he smiled back turning his eyes back to the road. When we pulled into the parking lot of Panera Bread. We went inside and had our first date. Yes!!

Wade

Lilac totally snapped on her fathers girlfriend. Completely unnecessary but cute nonetheless. She was so adorable. I took her to Panera Bread for our first date and smiled at her when we got back into the car afterward. We drove back to my house and when we got there I saw the tiny white sports car. Shit shit shit shit. I paniced and looked at Lilac "Do you wanna go back to your place?" She frowned "Maybe some other time but I promised Marie and Matt I'd make dinner and desert. Why?" Fuck fuck fuck fuck. Okay plan B "Because I wanna see your room." She glared at me "Spill. Now." I scrunched up my nose "Fine lets go then." This was going to end in disaster. I cautiously unlocked the door and pushed it open completely afraid of what I'd find on the other side. And I had a reaon to be worried. Matt was sitting with Marie and a tall girl with blonde hair pulled into low pigtails, clear blue eyes, tan skin, freckles a prefect body in a pair of skinny jeans and a blue tank top. With cowboy boots. Fuck. kill me now. The girl formally my lastest ex Angelease squealed and jumped up running to me "Wadeypoo!! Oh my look at you. I haven't seen you in months!" I cringed inwordly when she threw herself into my arms and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back. She pulled back and smiled at me then her gaze fell on Lilac and she smiled brightly "And who is this little cutie." Lilac dropped her bag to the floor and stepped up to Angelease still in her graduation outfit "Why I happen to be Lilac Jones. Wades girlfriend." Angelease's fell for a second then her smile reappeared "Oh thats wonderful. Y'all look soo cute together. The prefect couple. Much like we were right Wade?" She drawled in her Georgia accent. I gave her a forced smile "Yeah me and Lie make a prefect couple." Angelina looked at her and beamed "Angelease Rose. Pleasure to meet ya." Lilac gave her a distasteful look said danitly shaking her hand "Charmed." Oh no. I was in for it now...
