Lilac

5 years later...

I walked into the dark empty bakery and flicked on all the lights as I went and then turned on all the ovens and began baking for the day so that all my food was fresh. I took a look around the pastel pink decent sized bakery, the walls decorated in beautiful pictures Wade had taken over the years. He ended up going to college for landscaping photography. And I hung up every last picture he took. I put on my pink apron and pink chef hat on and flipped the closed sign to open at exactly 9 a.m. The regulars began pouring in along with a beautiful Marie and her fiancé Matt and my sexy husband. They all walked over to me, Wade kissed me lightly and rested his hand on my swollen belly. As a friendly customer came up to me "Oh! My, how far along?" I smiled brightly at Wade "7 months." She beamed "I wish you the best of luck with you baby...?" I smiled "Boy." She waved and walked back to her table. Wade kissed me again. "I love you baby." I smiled "I love you too."

Wade

Lilac stood next to me with her wedding ring on and her swollen belly carrying our son Cage and looking sexy as hell. I leaned over real close to her ear "Im so happy I asked you to marry me." She grinned "Me too." Marie gushed over Lilac's belly and Matt looked worried I grinned at him and said "Ya know she's gonna want one after she leaves Franklin." Matt frowned and grumbled "Yeah I know thanks alot." I grinned "Your ever so welcome." He glared at me. I had never been happier in my life, I had a beautiful, smart, talented and funny very pregnant wife, a big house in a the small town of Franklin North Carolina and I had a wonderful job as a landscaping photographer. I had never been more glad that I had married Lilac formally Jones but now Pointsetta in her Junior year of college. And I was so happy she was carrying my baby. it would appear that after the shit life I was dealt I had finally found my Princess.

THE END.
