I want to know you for everything you are, for every bit of your being,
To know the little things, like what you eat for breakfast,
And how you like your toast.

I want to see your turns and twists, and the very things that make you squirm.
Maybe they're confessing your feelings, maybe it's just spiders.

And to see you crack and chip away like paint on an old building,
Allowing me to peek inside, and see more that what you allow to others.

I want to hear you laugh, your wonderfully obnoxious laugh,
With sounds louder than thunder, but more gracious than awaterfall,
About things no one else would find even remotely funny.

And I crave to watch you smile, your perfectly imperfect smile,
As you tell ridiculous little jokes, that have absolutely not point.

I need to hear the words flow from your lips;
When you open the door to your little secrets.

I want you to let go of all the monsters in your past;
The issues at home, the thing that have been said.

I want to unfold you, as if you were as intricate as origami
And see everything the paper has to offer.

I want to read you carefully, and learn what others have not,
To see, to learn and to understand.

Because to me, you're mystery is like the ocean; vast and wildly unknown.
With things hidden in small spaces, that you've never let anyone see.

People search and search but your little creatures,
The monsters that hang upon your back, bury themselves,
Deeper inside, and conceal themselves within your mind.

But I, yes I, will be the one to unravel you,
To pluck out the secrets, and small little details of you as a person.

And make you see that even though,
It's true that something's are better off unknown,

I want to know you for everything you are.
For your monsters and for your demons.
For your angels and your happiness.

Because I know that deep, deep down inside, things can't be so scary.
And getting to know you will be worth the search and struggle.
