It's been 2 days and Nandini has not let me talk to Mukti I am really getting frustrated now. And Mukti also seems ok with Nandini's desision. I decide to talk to Nandini. I get up from the chair and gotowards her room. I knock
"Come in" I hear a reply. I enter the room and see Sameer on the bed reading a book and I see Nandini sitting on the floor with her laptop she had glasses on she looked so cut
Uhh....Manik come to the point
"Nandini I want to talk to you"
"I know what you want to talk about it's about mukti naa?" she asks. I simply nod
"Sameer beta can you go out for some time" she asks Sameer. He gets up from the bed takes his book and runs out of the room.
"Nandini I have to talk to Mukti" I tell her desperetly
"I know Mr.Malhotra I was also going to come to talk to you can you come her I want to show you something" she says.
I go near her and she indicates me to sit on the floor beside her I sigh and sit beside her keeping a safe distance between us.
She puts her laptop in front of me and tells me to see the video she plays.
I see a girl sitting silently on the bed and she suddenely turns voilent and starts throwing things like plates,vases she breaks the mirrors and she takes a mirror piece and cuts her wrist.
I looked horrifyingly from the video to Nandini.
"What the hell was this?" I ask her.
"One of my patients you see she also had depression because of her past. She had major mood swings and they got worst when her family started to critisize her" she said and removed her specs
I looked at her shocked "Mr.Malhotra these people are mentally unstable. A single incident keeps moving in their brain so when people critisize them they become voilent" Nandini explained
"So you mean Mukti will become like this?" I ask her scared
"No Mr. Malhotra but you must make sure that no one does or says such a thing which will hurt her. Keep her happy let her environment be positive then only will Mukti be able to get well soon. I being a doctor I will do my job but her family which for now is you has to keep her happy you should make her feel secure." she tells me and looks at me
"I will see to it that Mukti is taken care of" I tell Nandini. I notice that unknowingly our knees were touching each other. I get up and start walking towards the door as I am about to exit
"Don't worry Manik I will not let anything happen yo Mukti" for the first time Nandini said my name it felt like she made my name sound special.
"I know Nandini" I tell her honestly.
I go to my room. One thing is clear about Nandini she is not like her, she is not like my mom. Mean, selfish and self centered.
