Nandini's POV

"Di di get up naa it's 7" Sameer shook me "I am up I am up" I said as I got up. I looked at him he was still in his pajamas looking super cute. "Di get ready I will be waiting for you" Sameer said in a high pitch voice trying to behave like me "You are also not ready Sameer" I stated to him.

"Di you take almost 1 hour to get ready and I get ready in 15 mins" he smiled at me innocently and before I could react he ran away. That little brat.

I went to the bathroom brushed and took a nice long shower and later wrapped a towel around me and went to my closet looking for what to wear.

I choose to wear a floral dress that reached above my knees and white pumps. I put on my diamond earings. Then I put on some light make up and left my hair open. My hair is naturally straight and I love it.

Then I went down and saw Sameer waiting patiently for me at the dining table. When he saw me he smiled and said "You look beautiful di" I beamed at him and started preparing breakfast. I made a cheese sandwich for him and a veg sandwich for me.

While we were eating I got a call I saw that it was from my hospital. Yes I am a doctor a Psychiatrist to be exact. I pick up the call "Yes?" I say  

"Mam we have a urgent paitent who needs to be attended" the nurse says from the other side

"Ok who is the person?" I ask

"Mam patient's name is Mukti Malhotra" she says

"Ok so arrange a appointment" I say

"Umm..there is a problem the paitent is in New york and she needs immediate attention" she says 

"So I will have to go to New york?" I ask her to make sure.

"Yes mam" the nurse replys nervously

The paitent must be really in a bad condition.

"Umm.. mam can you tell if you are coming our not so I can inform the patients doctors and her family" she says

"I am coming to New York tell them that I will be there by tomorrow evening and you message me their address" I tell her

"Of course Mam" and she cuts the call.

I turn to look at Sameer I hope he is not upset "Sameer we..." he cuts me and says "We are going to New York na?" he says. I nod.

"YESSS!!!!!!!!" he shouts and I look up at him in shock.

"I needed a break and New York is a great place to take a break" he smiles at me.

I start laughing looking at his happy face.

"So start packing for your vacation and I will start packing for my job"
