Bringing her home

Nandini's POV
Manik has not left my side for a minute and its really driving me crazy. He keeps asking me if I want anything or if my wound hurts. Today I will be discharged from the hospital. Manik is completing the formalities.
"Ready nandu?" He asked I nodded and he suddenly picked me up.
"What the hell Manik? put me down now!!"
"No" came rude his reply. I sighed and let him carry me. He puts me in the car and drives me home.

As we both enter a balloon bursts in my face and glitter and sparkle falls all over us. I stare up in shock to see four faces grinning at me like fools. There stood Abhi, Mukti, Shanaya and my little brother.
"Welcome back Nandu" they shouted. I grinned at them. God I am so happy to see them.
"What the hell did I tell you she needs rest" I heard a shout from behind. Manik came storming in. "Manik its ok relax what's the big deal?" I said he is behaving really possessive lately.
"You won't get it...no one will" he shouts and storms of to his room. All four of them look at me.
"I will go and talk to him you guys continue" I said they nodded. I went towards Manik's room. I opened the door quietly and saw him sitting on his bed with his head in his hands. I walk towards him and sit beside him. I take his hands in mine. "What is troubling you baby" I say and he suddenly hugs me tightly but not hurting my wound. I wrap my hands around him.

"What is it Manik?" I ask softly. He looks at me he has tears in his eyes. "Nandini its just that I am scared... I am scared to loose you because you are all I got" he says. "Manik I am ok now and its going to be fine." I tell him caressing his face he takes my hand and kisses it. He pulls me closer towards him resting his forehead against mine. I kiss his lips lightly he sighs in the kiss.
"Manik I am tired let's rest" I tell him he nods and we both pull the blanket over us. He cuddles me carefully and kisses my forehead.
"I love you" I hear a faint wisper as I fall asleep.
