Ever stepped away from the mirror, a small victorious smile on her face. She heard the door shut and stepped out of the bathroom. Layla dropped the bundle of dry clothes in her hands, letting them sit on the bed. She turned to Ever.

"Alright, I think I finally got the makeup off," Ever announced.

Layla looked at Ever's red face, where smudged mascara and running eyeliner used to sit. "Missed a spot," Layla's comment was immediately followed by Ever's gasp as she rushed to the bathroom. Layla laughed when she heard her friend cursing under her breath. "Admit it, E. You loved the dance."

"Yes, Rue. I just love getting my outfit and hair soaked and my makeup smeared," she replied sarcastically.

"You heard Dan! It was a High School Musical moment!" Layla chuckled.

Ever paused, sticking her head out of the bathroom. "He's not Troy, and I'm definitely not Gabriella." She returned to the mirror. "Why were those sprinklers so strong, anyways?"

Layla shrugged lazily. "Big field. Gotta water the whole thing," she guessed.

Ever walked back out of the bathroom. "Okay, did I get it all?"

Layla examined her face, then nodded. Ever went back into the restroom. "What? I said you got it!" Layla peeked in the doorway, spotting her friend putting on makeup. "Seriously?" Ever just glanced at her through the mirror, not replying. Layla sighed and returned to the pile of clothes, hanging up what was hers and Hattie's. "Did you know the campus has a YouTube account?" she said after after moment.

"What?"

Layla chuckled. "For all that time you spend on the internet, you sure don't know much about YouTube. You know, your job?"

"My job is making videos, not watching them," Ever replied. "Otherwise, we all know you'd be rich."

Layla rolled her eyes. "We're creators," she stressed the word. "Creators look at other creators work. Inspiration, to see what works and what doesn't, what's popular," Layla picked up a shirt from the pile. "It's a necessity."

Ever stepped out of the restroom and paused, spotting her friend. Ever raised an eyebrow, a suggestive smirk on her face. "Who's shirt is that?"

Layla looked over at her friend. "Well, I couldn't just wash three outfits. That's too small a load."

"Is it Phil's?" Ever teased.

"No," She picked up another shirt. "This is." She folded the shirt and turned to her friend, pulling out her phone. "But about the channel. They take videos that are tagged and created from this campus and post it. I found the information in my folder last night. Someone recorded the dance and posted it." Layla held up her phone for Ever to see, and the screen played a recording of the dance off, and the sprinklers turning on, then cut to under the bleachers.

Ever pointed at a name at the bottom of the screen. "VLA Blur?"

Layla rolled her eyes, clicking the link. "No, you bat. It's Vita Blair. One of the biggest gaming channels on YouTube?"

"I thought that was poo do pie?"

Layla closed her eyes, collecting herself. "Jesus christ, E. No. PewDiePie," she emphasized each syllable. "His name is PewDiePie. He's number one in gamers and youtubers in general. Do some research, for christ sake. Vita Blair is, like, number 8 most subscribed in gamers."

Ever slowly nodded. "Okay. One question."

Layla raised an eyebrow, thinking she had gotten through to her friend.
