Mia's Pov

BEEP BEEEP BEEP

I rubbed my eyes, and quickly sat up. I looked beside me and Luke was sitting on the end of my bed. I'm still very confused with him, why is he here? Why did he cuddle with me last night?

"Oh, good morning." He smiled back at me.

I just sat there, I didn't really know what to say.

"Morning Mia." My dad came in. "Your mom went to work early, so here's money for lunch today."

"Oh, thanks." I smiled, looking over at Luke.

So they can't see him?

"The bus will be here in 30 minutes better get ready." He said, going out of my room.

"So, you are a ghost." I said, standing up.

"I wouldn't really call myself that." He shrugged, as I brushed my hair in the mirror.

"I know it's a weird question but why did you cuddle with me last night?" I asked.

"I get lonely sometimes." He shrugged again.

"What about that girl?" I asked.

"Darcy?" He asked back. "We hate each other."

"Is she here right now?" I asked.

"No, she leaves sometimes." He replied, standing up.

"Oh well, I have to change so can you go?" I asked, laughing a bit.

He didn't say anything, and just headed back to the attic. I grabbed the uniform and quickly put it on. It came with a skirt, a dress shirt, and a sweater if it got too cold. After that, I plugged in the straightener and got my makeup on. I really hope I make new friends, and that there's cute guys.

"There is, don't worry." The girl voice said again.

I quickly turned around and there was a girl sitting in the chair, smiling.

"A-Are you Darcy?" I asked.

"Don't have to be so scared." She smirked, standing up.

She looked really skinny and really pale.

"How did you know what I was thinking?"

She just smiled, sitting back down.

"5 MINUTES!" Dad yelled, as I got back to doing my hair.

I didn't like Darcy, she scares me a bit.

"Hey, what are us ghosts supposed to be?" She asked, appearing behind me.

I could feel how cold she is, from all the way over here.

"Just leave the poor girl." Luke said.

Darcy just stared down at me.

"If you need any help I'm always here." She replied, slowly disappearing with Luke.

I just shook my head. This can't be real. Why would I want help from her? I finally finished my hair and makeup, so I headed downstairs.

"You all ready?" Dad asked.

"Yup." I replied, getting my shoes on.

I quickly grabbed my backpack, and went to the door.

"Is it time to go?" I asked.

"Yup, love you." Dad replied.

"Bye, love you too." I said, heading out the door.
