It was finally after school and nothing really happened accept for Ashton acting weird. Maybe he was just nervous to talk to me it was my first day there. I was feeling weird the whole day, like me and these people met before.
I sighed, going downstairs to get a quick snack. I opened up the fridge and looked around. I closed it, and quickly turned around. Luke was there, and just as I was going to scream he covered my mouth.
"It's just me silly." He laughed a little, as I noticed that I can feel his hands.
"If you're a ghost how can I feel your hands?" I asked, as he uncovered my mouth.
He just looked at me, not saying a word.
"I'm not a ghost don't say that silly." He said, laughing nervously.
I just laughed a little, trying not to make things awkward.
"Want to see something?" He asked, smiling.
"Sure." I said, trying to be nice.
He led me back to my room and up to the attic. We went up the stairs, and he went to one of the boxes. He opened it and started pulling things out.
"Turn around, it's a surprise." He smiled, as i turned around.
After a couple minutes I finally turned around.
"Look up." He said, as I looked at the wall.
"Woah." I said, as I noticed it was a lot of paintings.
some of them were sad, some were gory, some were just beautiful.
"They're amazing." I smiled, as I looked at all of them. "Did you paint all of these?"
"Yes." He replied, as I could tell he was looking at me. "I put my name on all of them."
"This is so cool." I said, as I looked at him.
He gave me a look and said,
"You don't think they are weird?" He asked.
"No, of course not why would I?" I said, as he pointed to the ones that were depressing and the ones of people bleeding and all of the between.
"No, I still don't think they're weird." I said, as he looked surprised.
"Do you ever paint?"
"No not really, I just really like art." I replied, as he sat down.
He patted the floor next to him, so I sat down.
"Mya! I'm home!" I heard my dad yell as I quickly got up.
"Don't leave I'll be right back." I said, as Luke nodded and I headed downstairs.
"Hey dad."
"Hey honey, how was your first day?" He asked, as he put his shoes off.
"Pretty good." I smiled, as we heard someone knock on the door.
Dad quickly opened it, as I heard Calum's voice.
"Is Mia home?" He asked, as my dad looked at me.
"Yes, she is." He said, as I quickly went to the door.
"Do you wanna go for a walk down the road?" He asked. "I really want to talk to you."
"Yea, sure just let me get changed, it's kinda cold out." I said, as he smiled. "I'll be back in a second."
I quickly ran up stairs, and into the attic.
"Calum's here so I have to go for a bit, I promise I won't be long." I said, as he looked kinda sad.
"Okay have fun." He shrugged, turning away from me.
I noticed he had something in his hand, so I went to see what it was.
"Why do you have a doll?" I asked.
I noticed that it looked like him but with button eyes and a bloody knife. I feel like I've seen it before but I wasn't sure.
"I don't know." He shrugged. "You might as well go he's waiting for you."
I nodded, as I walked back to my room. I quickly put our school sweater on, and went back downstairs. I went outside and he was sitting on the steps. I looked at the sky and it was already getting dark.
"Come on, I want to show you something." He smiled, as I followed him to the sidewalk.
"So where are we going?" I asked, as he kept smiling.
"A place I always go if I'm upset, and I really wanted you to see it."
I found it kind of weird, but at the same time I couldn't wait to see what it was.
"Here." He said, pointing at an abandoned building.
"This is the place?" I asked, confused.
"Well theres more too it." He said, as we went in it.
It didn't look that bad. We headed all the stairs and to the roof.
"Ladies first." He smiled, opening the door for me.
I looked around, and it was amazing up here. The view was incredible.
"This is awesome." I said, as the sun finally went down.
"I know." He said, as he stood beside me. "Once the stars come out it's gonna be really cool."
He went and sat on the edge, letting his legs off the edge. I went and sat next to him as we waited for the stars to come out.
"I'm sorry if I was weird today, I usually get really happy that there is a new person." He said, looking at me. "We never really gotten new people, since people found out-"
"Found out what?" I asked, looking at him.
"What the people are like here." He said, sounding nervous.
I couldn't tell if he was lying or not but I didn't want to start drama on the first day. I looked at the sky, and the stars finally came out.
"They're beautiful." I smiled, as I looked at him.
He looked so precious, looking at the sky like that. No wonder why a lot of girls in our grade like him.
"Why are you looking at me?" He laughed a bit.
"I like the way you look at the stars." I said, trying not to sound weird. "No, it wasn't supposed to be weird, haha."
"It's fine." He said, as we both looked at each other. "Well we better get home, before it's too late."
He quickly got up, then helped me up.

We were both laughing and I hope he had a good time. We finally got to my door, and I noticed my mom was finally home.
"Well, I hope you had fun even though we didn't do much."
"I did." I smiled, as he hugged me.
"I'll see you at school right?" He asked, as I hugged him back.
"Yes." I smiled, as we both pulled away.
He started walking back to his house, through this "secret trail". He looked back and waved goodbye before I went back inside.
