Asteria had always been Asteria. In every previous she had shared with her sister and this had come down to one thing, a moment in time that was known throughout history, the moment that Asteria had sacrificed her own life for her sister to live and love freely.
Along time ago when Asteria was but 22 years old she had discovered the love her sister Shiera had gained with a man khufu, but as this man was of a lower status than her sister the love they shared had to be hidden
Due to this secret being kept no one outside of the trio knew of the affair, that was until a man who believed he loved shiera more than anyone had killed in his jealous rage, the first person who he killed was Asteria well she was the first he had stabbed but not the last to die
On the fateful night of her death Asteria had been guarding the door in which her sister resided, after a while she sat in front of the door waiting for her sister to finish with her lover, it was at this point when he had arrived.
A dagger clad in his hands as he whisked his way towards her a malicious glint in his eyes, he knew that if he wanted to get anywhere near the two lovers that the young girl would need to giver up her life, so that is exactly what she did.
Asteria had sacrificed her own life so that her sister could live hers freely and even though that her efforts were in vain ,as her sister and her lover had been doomed to the point of death together, she still became the goddess she was meant to be.
Her first life had ended that day but in that death became the greatest thing to ever happen, a woman sworn to protecting her sister would die and come back to do it all over again.
