Moving on

Few weeks have gone by finally no more visions of Logan..but new ones of my new best friend Nicole...what to do. I walk to my last class advanced English..I notice Nicole with her friend Bethany, I walk to her "hey you two what's up?" I asked smiling Nicole shrugged "just hanging out before class might be going to beach after school want to come?" She looked at me asking. After talking about the plans I decided to go I just had to finish the school day first..boring. During class the teacher wouldn't stop talking just kept going on and on and on everyone was getting annoyed by it, Finally he stops and we have five minutes of class left I just talk to my friend April about  my homework for the week. The bell rang shortly after I got done talking to April I went downstairs meeting with Nicole she hugged me I smiled "you ok?" I asked her she nodded walking to her bus with me. After saying goodbye to her I walk onto my bus sitting in the very back seat like always I take my phone out noticing a long text message from Nicole, " I know this is going to be out of nowhere, but for the past week or two I have been...having feeling for you...it's alright if you don't feel the same way I just thought you should know...let me know your thoughts it won't hurt my feeling...I'm your friend no matter what". I just sat there frozen for a minute thinking that I may actually like this girl..no...I do like her...what do I say..how do I respond..I start looking around and tapping my foot to calm myself down as I am nervous so I panic a little, I stare at the message. I am almost at my bus stop when I finally respond to Nicole " I...I like you to...I just have been to nervous to tell you I never thought you would like me back...I'm not sure what to say anymore ☺️☺️". I looked at my response while I walked to my house I blushed for a long time imagining what it would be like to be with Nicole.
