As the sun started to rise, I arrived at the front of the school with Luffy, Ace, Sabo, Nami, Zoro, and Chopper. But, Chopper didn't help me out because he was too busy yelling at me.
"Dawn, be serious about this!" Chopper said. "You shouldn't be moving around with that type of injury!"
"Chopper, for the last time," I sighed, "I am fine! It's just a bruise! It is not the end of the world!"
"Aw, does someone one have a boo-boo?" A voice mocked.
I rolled my eyes and glared at the main reason to why I have a bruise. Kid stood there with a smirk on his face with his gang behind. I never wanted to punch someone in the face so bad as much as I do now. Well, besides wanting to punch Bill in the face when I heard he ratted me out.
"Says the guy who has a bandage on his face!" I retorted.
Kid growled. He took his bandage off and it revealed a huge bruise on his face. I tried to hold back the laughter, but end up failing. I started laughing so hard that I fell to my knees.
"You're definitely not going to get the ladies now," I said in between laughs.
That sent everyone behind me laughing. It also earned a few chuckles from the guy in the blue and white striped mask in Kid's gang. Kid elbowed the guy to shut up.
"Is that all you can do?" Kid asked. "Make insults?"
"Have you looked in the mirror?" I said, which set off another round of laughter through us.
The masked dude laughed and said, "She's got you good, Kid."
Kid growled and said, "Shut up, Killer!"
I slowly stop laughing and sighed. I'm just having too much fun with this. I got up, still having a few chuckles here and there. I also grabbed the pipe that Sabo gave to me.
"Okay, let's get this show on the road," I said.
I walked forward a bit. Kid, however, walked forward with his gang.
"Nope, just you, Kid," I said. "Your cronies are staying behind."
"Tell that to your cronies," he said.
"They didn't even want to come until I told them that I was going alone," I said.
"So you told us that on purpose?" Sabo yelled.
I looked at him and replied, "no, I just wanted to tell you guys."
Sabo looked behind me and looked like he was going to warn me, so I instinctively ducked. I felt air go by my head and I dodged left. I saw Kid tched. I got back up and walked a couple steps away from Kid.
"Hey, no fair!" I yelled. "You were suppose to wait until I say go, you asshole!"
Kid looked confused and said, "What for?"
"So I can explain the rules," I said. "Duh."
He sighed and asked in a pissed tone, "What rules?"
"Rules are that you can't kill your opponent," I said. "And you keep on beating your opponent until they say that they give up."
"Ha!" Kid said. "I'd keep beating until you end up in the hospital!"
"Oh, that last rule was for me," I said.
"What for?" He said.
"Because I end up sending mine in the hospital one way or another," I said in a casual tone.
Kid looked at me for a second before he started laughing. His gang started laughing with him when they heard it too. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that my friends had shocked looks on their face. Well, all except Luffy. His eyes turned into little stars, like he was really amazed.
