Chapter 11: The Boiling Feuds

Dawn's POV

Law and I finally reached the door to Pinky's office. I was a bit worried about Law because he was tensing up all the way here.

"Hey, stop freaking out," I said. "If you need help, I'll be right next to you."

He laughed and said, "Why do I need help?"

"Do you have your phone on you?" I said.

"Yeah, what of it?" he said, suspicious.

"Let's hope no one calls you," I said.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Law asked as I opened the door.

"Pinky, you here?" I asked.

I heard Pinky laugh and said, "Right over here, pet."

I looked over at his desk. Still looks the same as usual. I pouted.

"When did I become a pet?" I asked.

"Aw, you look so cute pouting," Pinky crooned.

Law took this opportunity to come in. Pinky lost his smile for a millisecond, but quickly returned it. Law stood to the right of me.

"Ah, you must be new," he said. "Dawnie, why don't you go to your dorm? I'm sure everyone is worried about you."

"Actually, I'm gonna stay here with Law," I said with a smile and my eyes closed.

"Dawnie, are you sure-" Pinky said.

"I'm perfectly sure," I said, losing my smile. I opened my eyes, and made sure that the right eye was like a poisonous snake and the left looked like a pissed off wolf.

He immediately dropped his smile. I felt Law's hand go on my shoulder. I quickly lost the eyes and looked over. He had a smirk on his face.

"I guess it was a good think that you came with me," he said.

I giggled and said, "This is the second time I made him lose his smile."

"Why happened the first time?"

"He tried to take my phone when I was talking to my mom."

Law just ends up laughing. I swat at his arm. He slowly stops laughing and rubs his arm.

"Sheesh, remind me not to piss you off," he said jokingly.

I smirked and said, "You don't know the half of it."

"You two would make a very cute couple," Pinky said with a mischievous smile.

I felt my face heat up and turn very red. I was blushing so bad, I think smoke was coming off my face. Law blushed a light pink. Pinky saw both our faces and laughed.

"You both look so cute when you're blushing," Pinky said in a playful tone.

"S-shut up," I said.

That only made him laugh some more. The door opened as he was laughing. Law looked over and muttered under his breath. I look over to see Kid walking through the door.

"Oh, hi Kid," I said.

"What are you doing with him?" Kid asked in a somewhat threatening tone.

"Look, I didn't want to come here, but I wanted to help law out," I replied.

"No, I mean with him," he said, pointing his finger at Law.

"What's wrong with him?" I asked. Then a thought came through my mind. "Are you jealous?" I said with a smirk.
