Chapter 4

Week 1 Day 1:

"What?! You gotta be serious!"

Chloe nodded slowly.

Chloe had on a black and yellow polka dotted tube top with a motorcycle jacket over it, white short shorts and black skater shoes. Her hair was curled and she had on a black mustache necklace.

"Yeah. We came back from the infirmary and now, he's got two weeks of suspension. Once we got home, I tried to tend to his wounds while our parents were out and he leaned in and it seemed like he was trying to kiss me...!" Chloe rushed through her explanation, trying not to remember what happened last night.

"Aidan did what now?" James asked as he sat down in a desk across from Chloe in their Biology class.

James had on a brown sleeveless shirt with black cargo pants and white Vans.

"He tried to kiss Chloe." Ronnie stated simply as she bit into a strip of bacon.

Ronnie had on a white shirt that said, I Love Bacon, on it with faded denim capris and black high tops.

"Oh my..." James trailed off.

"And I don't get why!" Chloe whined while pouting.

"Well, listen: At least you got over the Tyler hurdle." Ronnie pointed out.

"But now there's the Aidan hurdle!" Chloe complained.

James sighed while rubbing his temples.

"Even if that is so, why did you even go to Ronnie for advice? You know that she's not an expert on love. Even if she had a love life, it probably failed." James teased, which made Ronnie glare at him.

"James, you're so mean...!" she growled as she whacked him in the arm with her Biology workbook.

Just then, the bell rang.

 Chloe sighed.

"It'll be fine. Just let it take its course." James advised just as their Biology teacher walked in and began to talk about the homework in their workbook.

Chloe sighed tiredly as she got out of free period with Ronnie by her side.

"Don't tell me you're still thinking about that." Ronnie guessed.

"It's troubling me too much. I'm kind of glad that our parents didn't see or else we would be in big trouble." Chloe pointed out.

"Listen, girl: what's so wrong with step sibling love? I honestly don't see anything wrong with it." Ronnie said.

"But...!" Chloe groaned while crossing her arms over her chest as they walked out of the school building.

That was when Chloe noticed Aidan by the front of the school with a small yet cheesy grin on his face.

Aidan had on a black Ed Hardy hoodie with dark blue denim jeans and black skater shoes.

Ronnie smirked as she nudged Chloe lightly.

"Good luck." she pointed out before walking off in the other direction.

Chloe mentally groaned as she walked over to Aidan.

"Why are you here? You know that I can walk home, right?" she asked.

"But then you'll get kidnapped." he stated simply.

"I'm fine. I know judo, so I'm fine." she told him.
