Chapter 13

Week 2 Day 8 {Day 7 as Aidan's Slave}

Chloe reached school just as she saw Ronnie running up to her with Dustin following from behind.

Chloe had on a black long sleeve that said, SuperCaliSwagilisticSexyHellaDopeness, with black faded short shorts that had studs on it and black high tops with some purple on it. Her hair was slightly crimped with a beanie on her head that said, 100 Percent California, on it, a black and gold ring, double heart necklace, and EOS Strawberry Sorbet lip balm.

 "Heya, Chloe!" she called out.

Ronnie had on a blue sleeveless shirt dress with red leopard legging under it and a jeans jacket over it along with black Converse. Her hair was down and wavy and she had a pearl hairband in her hair. She had on a necklace that had three black swallows on it, black bangles, grey pearl stud earrings, and a gun ring.

Dustin had on a red Hollister shirt with black skinny jeans and white Nike high tops. He had on a white bulky watch and his hair was spiked off to the side.

"Hey." Chloe greeted.

Dustin waved.

"Hey." he greeted.

"So! You planning on going to James' place today?" Chloe asked.

Ronnie nodded.

"Yeah." she said.

"However, she says that she wants to go alone. I asked her if I could come and meet him, but she insisted that I will meet him another time." Dustin explained.

Chloe shot Ronnie a sly look.

"Oh, I see how it is. You just want to have James all to yourself, now do you?" she asked teasingly, which made Ronnie blush furiously.

"That's not it!" she complained.

Both Chloe and Dustin laughed.

"Oh, sure." Dustin said just as the bell rang.

"Well, let's just head to class." Chloe suggested as they walked into the building.

Ronnie looked at Dustin's backpack, which was a yellow backpack that had a black smiley face on it..

"I forgot to tell you this yesterday, but I love your backpack." Ronnie told him.

Dustin smiled.

"Thanks." he told her as they walked into their Math class.

"We'll see you tomorrow, Ronnie!" Chloe called out as Ronnie headed to her black Audi.

Ronnie waved.

"See ya!" she replied as she got into her car and drove off in search of James' house.

As she was driving, she took out a sheet of paper from one of the compartments in the car and she looked at it.

"Hmmm...287 Snowflake Creek...isn't that by Falkner Lake?" she asked herself as she took a right and headed down straight to Falkner Lake.

A few minutes later, she came up by the lake and saw the only community near the lake: Wuthering Heights.

"Of course...my old house used to be in Wuthering Heights and on Snowflake Creek..." she trailed off.

She stopped at a traffic light and she decided to pull out her phone and text James.

She pulled out her phone, turned it on, went into her contacts, clicked on James' name, and she began to text him.

James, I'm coming by. We haven't seen you in a while and I just wanted to see if you were alright. :)

She turned off her phone just as the light turned green and she drove into the community.

She took a right on Wright Boulevard and a left on Snowflake Creek and she arrived at his house.

It was a cute light blue Victorian house and Ronnie knew how much she adored Victorian houses, since she used to live in one before they moved into the mansion.

She parked the car and she got out.

She walked up to the house and noticed the doorbell. Her finger rested on the doorbell as she let out a sigh.

"Well...here goes nothing..." she trailed off before pushing the doorbell. making a sound ring through the house.

She stood at the door, hoping for him to answer it.

The door opened to reveal James, who had on a blue, cream, and orange plaid shirt with tan cargo shorts. His hair looked a little more curly from when she last saw him.

"Ronnie...?" he questioned.

She nodded.

"Yup. It's me." she told him.

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"You haven't been coming to school for a while now. We were all concerned and Chloe insisted that I came and see if you were okay." she explained.

"I'm glad that you were concerned. I am fine." he said as he began to close the door.

However, Ronnie stuck her foot out, keeping the door from closing on her.

"James, wait. Why are you not coming to school? Did something happen?" she asked.

"No." he said.

"James, no isn't enough. I want more words than that." she told him.

"Ronnie, just...please. Don't talk to me." he told her before closing the door in her face.

Ronnie looked at the door with a shocked look on her face, wondering what went wrong.

*Authors Note: This chapter was short, as well. Yeah, I know. But! The next chapter won't be as short as this and Chapter 12. Well, hope I see ya the next chapter! :)
