~XinXin3000's POV~

We did it. It was right there in front of me. Guude went around the unopened portal, placing an eye of ender on everyone. As he placed the last eye, a bright light appeared, blinding us momentarily. My eyes adjusted to the lighting of the room once again and the portal caught my attention.

Stars blinked in the endless black background, it was as if the portal contained the vast galaxy, beckoning us to just jump in. "Who would like the honour of going in first?" Guude asked.

Seeing that no one replied, I volunteered, even though I was afraid for my life. Who knew what could be on the other side? Will the dragon be there? I took a shaky breath and stepped up to the side of the portal, looking down at the continuous galaxy. I turned back and smiled at the group, saying, "See you on the other side." With that, I closed my eyes as I jumped in, allowing the darkness to swallow me whole.

In a few seconds, I felt my legs touch the ground, and I opened my eyes to admire the sight around me. It was plain, yet pretty. A stone fortress stood in front of me, decorating the bare landscape. It was detailed and grand, a combination of stairs, slabs and all the different types of blocks used made it so.

"Woah..." I turned around to see Chad looking up at the structure.

"It's really nice right?" I commented, smiling.

One by one, Mindcrackers came in, most of them having the same reaction. Guude came in last, and the moment that happened, a loud laughter erupted from the fortress. Herobrine, Firewolf and Brooke appeared, decked out in full, enchanted diamond armour.

"Took you all long enough," Firewolf started. "Your friends gave us entertainment though." Her fingers snapped and a flash of sunset colours brought the lost Mindcrackers out. They slumped against two by two glass walls, mostly bloodied and bruised.

Chad ran forward but was stopped by some blue barrier when he crashed into it. As he stepped back, the barrier became invisible, but when he touched it again, it reappeared in a vibrant blue. It stretched into the endless universe, no way of penetrating it. Brooke smirked at Chad's useless attempts to get the trapped ones.

"Don't even try. The only way to get out is to beat us," Herobrine laughed. An enderdragon swooped by, Herobrine jumping on her back as Brooke and Firewolf teleported across the barrier. "Kill each of us, and you win. If we kill all of you..." Herobrine did not have to continue the sentence for us to know what would happen.

I was fearful. Fearful that we would lose. Fearful that I would not escape. Yet, I was determined. Determined to get out. Determined to save the Mindcrackers who I have been following for so long. I was contradicting myself but it was exactly my thoughts.

"Mindcrackers! Attack!" Guude yelled, shooting an arrow at Herobrine. Some gave a war cry and shot their arrows too, all of them missing Herobrine but some hitting the dragon.

The dragon roared in anger as Brooke appeared in front of me. "Hello Xin," she spat out my name like venom. I glared at her and waited for her attack, my sword out and ready.

"Hello. Long time no see, betrayer," I replied, my patience slowly draining.

"I was never a betrayer. I just followed Herobrine's instructions."

"That does not change anything!" I yelled, starting the attack. Our swords clashed as I grit my teeth, trying my best to push her back. I moved aside as she almost tripped. Switching my sword out for the invisibility potion, I popped the cork off and downed it, the bitter sweet taste swirling in my mouth. I quickly took off my armour so that she would not see me.
