Candles and Promises
Candles are like promises
The candle represents hope
Like wishes and dreams
Promises represents hope too
Like truth and possession
But when the candle is blown out
And the promise is made
There is this feeling inside you
That pushes you away
Because you want to be optimistic
But you know
Promises are always broken
And wishes never come true
So essentially
What are you hoping for?
