Chapter 11

Lisa's P.O.V

The car ride is so weird...

I'm quiet , His quiet, his eyes are focusing on the road and i can tell he is looking for the right words before he speaks.

"Are you hungry" He ask

"Yeah...but I'll just grab something on my way back to my dorm" I say and look out of the window

"How old are you?" He ask

That wasn't nothing close to what i just told him

"18"

"Okay" He say and stay quiet.

We stay quiet during the whole ride and i spot the campus sign and i let out a breath.... But he continues and drive past the campus entrance.

"You just past the entrance" I say

"I know" He says

If you know then trun back around go drop me off.

"Then where are we going" I ask

"We are going to Friendly's" He says

"What is that" I ask ... He must ne talking about a restaurant.. he did ask me if i was hungry earlier

"It's a restaurant's five minutes from here" He say and his attention never leaving the road.

"Oh okay" I say and turn my attention back to my phone... His clothes are very comfortable and smooth , I'll have to ask him what laundry detergent he uses.

That would be so creepy so i just keep quiet.

We finally get to the place and i see the name Friendly's in a big red light on top of the roof..

I get out of the car and he does the same and we both stay quiet as we enter the pack restaurant.

"Where do you want to sit" He ask.

"Anywhere is fine" I say

We walk up to a booth next to a window all the way in the back of the restaurant and i take a sit without saying anything to him.
Why am i making this more awkward then it should be , that because i have to overthink everything and anything.

A older lady in a very bright lipstick comes up to us and ask us what we want to order.

"Can we have the buffalo wings" He ask

"Lisa what do want"He ask

"Um.... Buffalo wings as well" I say

She takes her note pad out and starts to write our order.

"Also the fries" He adds

"Okay will that be all" She ask and smile at us.

"For drinks can we have the pink lemonades... Lisa is that okay" He ask

"Yeah" i simply say

"Okay" She says and continues writing and moments later she gives us a white papper saying 79...

"When the server comes sho-" She says and Gerald cuts her off before she finish talking

"We know Ma'am" He says rudely yet politely...

The lady nods and walk away.

I stare at my phone , trying to avoid eye contact with him.

"Didn't you say you have a boyfriend" He speaks after some moments of silence.

My mind remember to the lie i said last night when he was dared to kiss me .

"I do" i continue to lie
