I am beyond happy that Gerald got me an intership.
He is very sweet and addictive somehow.... I can't stop thinking about him and there's something about him that makes me want to be around him more.
"What has gotten you in a delightful mood" Emma laughs when she see me.
"Nothing.. I just got an internship" I say without mentioning Gerald.
"That's good.. Your first month and you got an intership already? Go girl" She claps her hands together and smile.
"Thank you"
"So tell me... What's really going on between you and Gerald?" She ask and get up from her bed and take a sit on mine.
"Um nothing" I lie
"Are you two fuck buddies or... Actual friends" She ask
"Um we are just friends...why"
"I just heard some stuff and since your my roomate and friend i wanted to make sure if it was true" She say and i start to get nervous
"What did you hear?"
"I just heard James saying some stuff about how Gerald attacked him at the last party because he said something about fucking you" She answer me
"What?...what are you talking about"
"Here i have the vedio.. A guy from my IT Tech class sent me the vedio of the whole fight" She say and hand me her phone and show me a vedio.
It's Gerald fighting and punching a guy and he takes a bottle and breaks it and stabs the guy with it... Oh my God.
The guys face looks familiar.. Of course.. It's the guy that ask for my name few days ago when i was going to my classes.
"Oh God, why would Gerald do that?" I ask Emma as i give her back her phone.
"Because apparently James wanted to fuck you or something and i he was pretty rude to Gerald and also Gerald was high so he let his anger get the best of him" She answer me
I am so shocked... I can't even speak right now... I know Gerald is scary but this is a whole new side of him .
"I know you two have been getting close lately but please watch out okay? I heard he was with Alex the same day you two were together"
"What does him being with alex has to do with me?" I ask
"Just watch out okay?" She warns me with her hands on my shoulder.
"Okay... I need to step out" I say and go grab a sweater and leave before she says anything.
I call Gerald but he doesn't pick my call but i call him again but this time it goes straight to voicemail this time.
I don't know what to fo right now... Should i drive to his place or what? I am so confused.
I did leave my bag there and i could just pretend that i am there to pick up my things.
I get in my car and decide to drive to his frat house.
My phone vibrates from my lap and i see a message from Ethan.
*Are you okay?*
I respond with *yeah..*
*want to meet up for a bite?* He sends back
*Yeah sure*
He text me an adress off campus and i go meet him there.
When i get there his already there with a smile on his face and he has his hair in a cute bun.
"Hello stranger" He tease me when i take a sit across him.
"Well hello to you too" I roll my eyes at him.
"Well... Are you going to tell me why you've been skipping your classes lately?" He ask with a grin on his face.
"Well I've been pretty busy and also lazy"
"Busy? With my brother Gerald?" He ask and i swallow the lump in my throat.
"Erm..no"
"Okay" He say and his eyes go straight to the door and his expression change ans i turn around and i see Gerald with a girl behind him.
Of course... He blew me off for a girl.
"Speaking of the devil" I joke and he laughs.
Gerald notice me and i turn my head.
"So how was your day?" I ask Ethan
"It was amazing actually... I went to all of my classes and did all of my work and then i went home and ate a cookie then took a nap then here we are" He say with a childish grin on his face.
"That's good"
"Yeah how about you?"
A lady comes with pizza and drinks.
"I already order" He tells me
"Mine was pretty boring....I woke up late for my classes so i just stay in bed" I lie and he nods.
I don't want to talk about Gerald right now...which also ends up being his step brother and adoptive brother.
We ate and joke around until he tells me he has to leave and we both get up and leave when i turn around i see Gerald keep looking at me.
When i get to my car i receive a text from Gerald saying "it isn't what it look like" but i ignore his text and go back to my dorm.
When i enter i see Alex sitting on my bed and It's the other guy that Gerald beat up...James.
What the hell?
