The family finally got everything down to Texas, and it was only a matter of unpacking it all.

Aaliyah was in love with her new closet. It was a lot bigger than the one she had in the bay. It supported all the shoes, and clothes she had with no problem, there were also other features in the closet that she loved as well. While unpacking, Riley comes in and flops down on the couch.

"Does this tv work yet?" She says picking up the remote.

"Nope. Cable guy's not coming till tomorrow and he'll hook up everything. Shouldn't you be unpacking."

"I'm done."

"You're done? All of your clothes and shoes are put away in your closet...neatly?"

"Mhhm..."

"I'm impressed. You wanna help mama?"

"Sure." She gets up and surveys all the shoes on the floor waiting to be put in its correct spot. "You really need an intervention...how many of these did you actually buy?"

"I'd say about half of them. A lot of these were gifted or just given to me."

"That's so cool how that works..."

"Yeah, it has it's perks...so what do you think about Houston so far?"

"Ummm its big..."

"Yeah, this city's huge...but I'm sure you'll like it once we get out and explore."

"Luckily we brought Nala down...now I can fit in with the rest of the Texans, and ride my horse to school."

"Now where did you hear that?"

"That's what I heard from people."

"As many times as daddy and I came down here this summer, we barely saw anyone on horses."

"Don't let them fool you mom...it's a true story."

Aaliyah chuckles. "Whatever you say."

While they were putting away shoes and clothes, they hear something fall. They both rush out to see what it was and the boys are already breaking things.

"Aalijah Christopher and Nathaniel Rand Kaepernick."

"Oooooo y'all in trouble." Riley teases.

"Riley."

"Yeah?"

"Hush." Riley nods.

"Do I have to tape you two to the wall or something?" They both look at each other, then look at Aaliyah and smile. "I'm dead serious. There's a game/playroom for a reason...and I told you both about throwing balls in the house."

"We didn't throw a ball...We were wrestling."

Aaliyah sighs. "Let's just work on not breaking things, okay?"

"Okay."

"Did y'all put away your toys and everything like I said."

"Almost done." Nate says.

"Then why are y'all playing?"

"We got bored...when's papa coming home."

"Soon...I should have let him take you little knuckle heads to camp with him. You'll be going tomorrow."

"YESSSS!!" They both say.

"Now go finish your room...Riley, go help them."

"Okay....come on losers." She says, throwing Nate over her shoulder. After they finish putting away toys, Riley decides to take her brothers to ride their bikes around the neighborhood and get familiar with the area.

"You think papa's gonna win a Super Bowl now?" Nate asks as they make their way down the side walk.

"I hope so...it's been foreverrrrrrr. And he deserves one. Daddy works hard."

"Do you think people will like us at our new schools?"

"Maybe...but who cares if they like us or not. We have each other...that's all we need."

They ride around for a little bit more, then head back home.

The next day, Riley and Aaliyah head to Riley's new school to register her for the year. Riley decided to take a look around the school. She headed over to wear the locker rooms were and the girls head basketball coach happened to be in the office.

She introduced herself and they got to know a little bit about each other. Afterwards, Riley continued to look around and went outside. As she walked out, a bunch of the football players were walking from the field. She quietly surveyed, and concluded that majority of them were cute...but that was only on the surface.

"Hey...I know you." The last guy says, stopping in his tracks. She gives him a confused look. "I mean, I don't know you, but I know who you are..."

"You don't know me." She says frankly.

"Yeah, you're Colin Kaepernick's daughter."

"You've proven my point. You don't know me."

"But...that's who you are?"

"No...I have a name."

"Riley...I follow you on Instagram...and Twitter."

"Cool...would you like a follow back?" She says sarcastically. "It was nice to meet you." She walks away.

"You didn't even get my name."

She turns around. "I don't need it." She turns around again and continues walking to meet up with her mom.
