No Letting Go II

Friday had came quick. The kids were off at school, Colin was at the facility for walk throughs, and Aaliyah was on her way to the airport to pick up Akasha, Odell and the kids. The kids don't know they're coming this early, so it'll be nice little surprise for them when they get home.

Aaliyah arrives at the airport and waits in the drop off/pick up area. One thing she loved about Houston was that paparazzi didn't exist. The closest thing to them were just normal, everyday fans who were lucky enough to spot them.

She flags them down once she seems them walk out the door. Omari ran straight towards the truck and into Aaliyah's arms.

"Hi auntie Liyah."

"Hey handsome. You're getting big on me baby boy."

"Where's brother?"

"At school. They'll get out a little later."

Odell, Kash and Anari make their way to the truck. They exchange pleasantries and head to the house. Aaliyah and Colin have plenty of room, and they insisted that the Beckham family stay at their house.

"Welcome to la casa de Kaepernick." Aaliyah says welcoming them into their new home. "Make yourselves at home. There are plenty of snacks and drinks in the kitchen and the two rooms downstairs are y'alls."

"Thanks again for letting us stay. You really didn't have to." Kash says.

"Yes I did. We have more than enough room for y'all."

"Is Riley at school too?" Omari asks.

"Yeah. But she'll be here a little bit after the boys."

After handling business at the facilities, it's time for the boys to get out of school. He stops by the school, picks them up and they get to the house. The boys run in the house once Colin opens the door and gets surprised by Omari and Odell watching tv in the livingroom.

"UNCLE ODELL!!" Nate says jumping on him.

"What's up lil man." Aalijah and Omari go straight to each other. "What's up, Aalijah?!"

"Hey uncle." He says then gives him a hug.

"Sup bro." Nate says to Omari and gives him a hug. "Where's auntie kash and Anari?"

"They left with your mama to go get Riley."

"Oh. Okay. Let's go to the game room." Nate says to both Aalijah and Omari and they run off.

"Woah. Hold up. Come back." Colin says and they run back. "Go put your back packs up...and I don't want no wrestling. Last time you knuckle heads got together, we almost had to make a trip to the hospital."

"Yes sir."

They run upstairs and Colin daps it up with Odell. "What's up. How's the bye week goin?"

"Good. Enjoying the last few days before its back to work on Monday."

"I hear that shit. Can't wait for mine. Maybe we'll come there and visit y'all."

"You know y'all always welcome." Odell says before putting fruit snacks in his mouth.

"Aye. Them my fruit snacks."

"They might be." Odell says flatly.

"The hell."

"Aye, your lady said we can have whatever is in the pantry."

"That was my last pack."

"You'll be aight. So what's this I hear about some lil dude taking Riley out tonight?"
