~Ian's POV~

We have only a few minutes before Seto comes back, I literally just sent him on an endless scavenger hunt that will eventually lead him back here. Okay, okay you're probably wondering what we're doing, and who this we is. Today is Seto's birthday, and the we is our friends. Unfortunately, Seto won't tell me how old he is, so I just let Derp put as many candles as he wants on the cake, but oh well.

"He's here!" I hear Ty yell from the front door.

"Quick, turn the lights out!" I say before ducking behind the counter, and pulling Derp down next to me since he didn't really understand what's going on.

As soon as the door opened and Seto turned on the lights, we all jumped out of our hiding places and screamed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" some, 'Adam' louder than others.

But my smile quickly turned to a frown the moment I saw him, he was completely drenched from head to toe in rain water, his hood was down showing his cute little cat ears flattened against his head, and he looked like he was on the verge of crying.

"What happened!?" I ask, going over and hugging him, not even caring if he was wet.

"I was coming down the sidewalk and our sprinklers came on!" He cried.

I couldn't help but laugh just a little, "A-are you...laughing at me!?" He looks up at me with sad, tear-filled eyes.

"I'm sorry." I say before kissing him. I smile, and soon, he smiles back, "Come on, you want some cake? Derp helped make it."

"O-Okay..." He says quietly.

I kiss the top of his head and lead him into the kitchen, everyone surrounding us. Adam lights the candles and we sing happy birthday to him before he blows out the candles.

"What did you wish for?" I ask.

Seto looks at me and giggles, "I wished for you to be happy."

I smile before kissing him on the cheek, Seto in return makes a cute squeak noise, "Let's go get you changed, then we can have some cake! That reminds me, I didn't know how many candles to put on, since I can't really remember how old you said you were." I smirk, hoping it works.

"Nice try Ian, but not happening."

Darn.
