"Excuse me, can you-" I say to a passerby-er. She completely ignored me.
Great.
I walk through the crowed hall way in an attempt to find the main office, bumping into almost every person in the hall.
From that I got stares, scoffs, and 'Who does she think she is?'
No one apparently.
I walk with my head held low, not noticing someone with their leg out. I fall to the ground with a loud thud, knocking the wind out of myself.
Nice one Robin.
A crowd gathers around me pointing and laughing. All I could do was pull my legs up to my chest tightly. I bury my head into my knees.
"What a cunt." I hear someone say.
"Seriously guys? Are you serious? Stop being assholes." The voice was deep and soothing.
I lift my head to admire my savior.
His hand was extended out and the crowd fell silent.
His features were so beautiful. His pale skin was a great canvas for his light brown freckles. His pale blue eyes were shielded by his light blonde eyelashes.
My eyes fell onto his mouth, which slowly formed into a smirk. They were so full and a light shade of pink. His long dark brown hair fell feather like against his broad shoulders.
"You gonna take it or not?" He speaks.
My words tangled around each other and fell to the back of my throat.
I extend my hand and he grips it tight but comfortably. They were ice cold which sent shivers throughout my body.
The hall now silent, he pulls me up to my feet. Staring deep into my eyes.
"Here you go." He says as he hands me my backpack.
"T-thanks." My eyes fall to the ground.
"C'mon."
He grabs my hand and yanks me through the crowd. We run around many corners and down long halls.
He stops dead in his tracks making me bump hard into his slender figure.
He turns around, "I hate crowds."
I nod and look around. Trying to make my awkwardness go unnoticed.
He clears his throat to break the silence.
"I'm Ilya."
"I'm um Robin."
"Robin." He says to himself.
"I was wondering if you could point me to the main office." My voice small like a child's.
"They didn't mail your schedule to you?"
Apparently not, that's why I'm asking you.
"No. So um, will you?"
"It's on the first hall. Biggest room. You can't miss it. I don't know how you made it to the fifth floor and missed it when it's the first floor with a sign if I may add."
He stares blankly at me and I start feeling self-conscious making me tug at my skirt pulling it down.
"Right. Sorry."
"I'm just kidding." He smirks and shakes his head. "First day?"
"Yeah."
"Sit with me during lunch. Last table towards the back. I'll introduce you to my friends."
He lights a cigarette and chuckles .
He's so damn sexy.
" You done checking me out?" He takes a drag and smirks.
I literally die.
"Tha- no. Um." I give up.
"That's okay beautiful." His chuckle throaty and raw.
Beautiful? He called me beautiful. Not fat or over weight like everyone else.
My face flush and my cheeks tints with pink.
He smirks knowing that he succeeded with throwing my mind off.
"So, I'll see you during lunch." He winks and walks away.
His broad shoulders were held up so authenticity.
"Wow."
I guess I won't be a cliche after all.
