It was the most unusual meeting ever.

All of the Akatsuki members were standing on the fingertips of the giant screaming statue with me in one of the palms. Deidara and Tobi were directly behind me. It seems as if all of the Akatsuki members had partners to be paired up with. There was one fingertip, however, that did not have a member.

"Who's late?" I asked, frowning.

"Oh, some snake pervert named Orochimaru was part of the Akatsuki," Deidara said nonchalantly. "But he tried to steal that guy's body and got defeated, so he left."

I looked at who Deidara pointed it. A man whose dark hair was in a ponytail and creases that separated from his nose bones. One of his hands was hanging out of his Akatsuki cloak, treating it like it was a cast for a broken arm. His mouth was set in the slightest of frowns and his eyes were looking at everyone in disapproval, as if he were their superior.

Right next to the body this Orochimaru tried to steal was a large blue man. I mean, literally blue. His skin was blue and his blue hair was spiked up. On his back looked like a giant sword that was bandaged up, not letting me see the actual blade. Blue Man grinned at me, flashing me a set of pointed teeth that resembled a shark. I couldn't tell if the lines on his cheeks were gills or decoration. It was this guy that sprayed me with a water blast. Apparently, that was his way of "cleaning my bloody nose". Turns out that I really didn't break my nose after all.

Well, that's one positive of my day.

And then with Mr. Blue Fish Dude you had this rainbow dude...like literally rainbow. It was like a hologram. He had spiky red hair and eyes that had circular rings with it. I couldn't see his face because it was dark - his ringlet eyes were the only thing I could identify on his face. He wasn't the only one that was rainbow. Right next to him was another woman with her hair pulled up in a bun with a flower in it.

"That's Leader-sama," Deidara told me. "He's apparently got the rumored Rennigan."

I looked at Deidara. "What's a Rennigan?"

Deidara shrugged. "To be honest, I don't really know myself. I doubt anyone knows, but it's a mystery but really powerful. But I bet if it were compared to my art, it would be nothing."

I held back a snort.

"Hey, can we please get this meeting started?" Hidan yawned in his traditional monotone voice. "I have rituals to attend to!"

Kakazu sighed through his mask. "No, you don't."

"Yes, I do!"

"No-ooo, you don't!"

"Shut up, the both of you!" Deidara shouted at the bickering members. "Before I blow you up with my art!"

"Your art, my ass!" Hidan stuck out his tongue in a childish manner. "How about you shut up?"

"Hey guys, let's just keep it calm here, alright?" Tobi asked nervously, twisting his gloved fingers together.

"Shut up, you idiot!" Deidara snapped at Tobi.

"What did Tobi do?" I demanded. Deidara glared at me.

"And you, too!" he added.

Before I could shoot back a reply, the Leader-sama narrowed his ringlet eyes. "First things first, we've got all of the Tailed Beasts except for the Eight Tails and the Nine Tails. Who is suppose to be tracking the Eight Tails down?"

All of the members looked at each other uneasily. No one pipped up. The rainbow hologram next to Leader-sama let out a frustrated sigh.

"It's no wonder why the two Jinchūriki have been running around so freely," she grumbled audibly.

"Wait, I thought Deidara and Tobi were suppose to have the Eight Tails?" Mr. Blue Fish Dude frowned.

"What? I thought it was Zetsu!" Deidara immediately proclaimed. "I retrieved the One Tails and the Three Tails."

Zetsu, a green man whose face was half white, half black, and had some sort of Venus fly-trap like shell around it's head, objected. "No, that's not our doing. I thought that Hidan and Kakazu's job."

"It is not, you damn green - "

"Hidan!" Kakazu warned his swearing-obsessed partner sharply.

"Well, we have something to settle then. Who is going to take these Jinchūriki?" Leader-sama asked. No one volunteered.

"What's a Jinchūriki?" I pipped up. All heads turned towards me and I suddenly felt like I was on the brink of death.

Oh right, that's because I am.

"Should we really be talking about this in front of her?" Zetsu asked.

"Nah, it'll be fine," Hidan shrugged. "It's not like she can escape and babble her mouth away, anyway. She'll probably be arrested. After all, she's the daughter of an infamous drug lord."

My face reddened, but I had no comment. The Akatsuki members seemed to agree with Hidan.

"So then...what's a Jinchūriki?" I repeated. Everyone ignored me.

"Deidara, Tobi, you take on the Nine Tails," Leader-sama said. Deidara immediately groaned.

"But I've captured two tailed beasts already!" Deidara whined. "Why not assign them to Zetsu or something?"

"Do as I say," Leader-sama replied sharply. "And Itachi and Kisame, you go and get the Eight Tails. I know that the Eight Tails lives near a body of water so that'll be good for you, Kisame. And Itachi, I hear that the Eight Tails Jinchūriki has the Eight Tailed beast completely in control. Your genjutsu and sharingan will be effective."

What? I am so lost.

Itachi and Kisame, the guy with the ponytail and Mr. Blue Fish Dude, nodded in response.

"And now, our final unfinished issue," Leader-sama said as he turned towards me. My heart froze and my blood ran cold. "We are going to have to use you as bait, hm?"
