I'm standing on a beach, it's not beach weather and it looks foreboding. I don't remember how I got here, I remember stabbing Kazimir and the blood on my dress. I look down and blink, not understanding what I'm seeing. I'm wearing my jacket that was completely destroyed, a t-shirt that said 'Normal People Scare Me' which dad had bought me for my sixteenth which I wore into school that day and black ripped jeans with green converse that I had left in the house before burning it down. I check my stomach for dagger wounds and find nothing and I hear someone behind me. I look behind me, freaking the hell out and see a girl my age with blonde hair, a skull t-shirt and black jeans. She looks scared too.
"Do you know where the hell we are?" She asks thinking I'm not a threat which I believe is true for now. "Because last thing I knew I was in my apartment in New Jersey and now I'm...wherever we are." I take a deep breath and try to figure out where we are.
"I have no idea," I check my stomach again for a stab wound. "Last thing I remember is lying on the ground dying in Virginia and then I'm here wearing clothes that were destroyed," I can almost hear the scream that I heard before waking up here. "My name's Jade, what's yours?"
"Mad, it's a nickname," I notice her look at something behind me. "Someone else is here," I turn to see a girl with brown hair in a black hoodie and looking scared. I automatically walk towards her but Mad grabs my arm and gives me a look that called me stupid. "She could be a vampire."
"Vampires only look scared when they're about to die," I pull my arm out of her grasp and walk towards the girl who looks at me with hope and fear. I reach her and stand there awkwardly. "I'm Jade, what's your name?" She breathes before answering me.
"I'm Winter, yes my parents hated me that much," Her accent seems to say she's from Texas. "You wouldn't happen to know where we are do you because I was in Texas shooting a vampire's head off and I'm here now," I notice that they both had been awake when they found themselves here. I look around again and something seems familiar about this place. It's faint but I remember standing here with these girls and three guys, almost like a dream and three girls, three boys, six clans with six prophecies. "You okay?"
"You wouldn't happen to have two girls and three boys as friends do you?" She nods and I look at Mad who joins us. "Do you have two girls and three guys as friends ?" She shakes her head.
"I have one guy friend and four people we hunt vampires with. Two girls and two guys," She looks at suspiciously and she crosses her arms defensively. "Why?"
"Because I have two girl friends and three guys friends who I hunt vampires with," I see three guys jogging towards us. "We're not alone." I study them, they're kinda cute but not my type. One of them has black glasses, black hair and blue eyes. The tallest one has messy brown hair and blue eyes with a spoiled rich boy demeanor. The third one has dark brown hair and green eyes. They reach us, looking hopeful.
"Please tell me you know where we are?" Glasses asks and I look at the ground. "Great, just fucking great," He takes a deep breath and smiles at us with a definite womanizer smile. "What's your names? Mine's St Clair, this is Jesse and Mickey." He gestures at the taller one first so he's Jesse then at Mickey who's staring at Jesse's ass. My gay alarm goes off and I give him a look which makes him look at us.
"Jade, Mad and Winter," I look around and I hear Dante saying my name. I can't see him and I feel disappointed. "You guys don't happen to have three girl friends and two guy friends, do you?"
