It's Him

Chapter Five

(The dance video is the dance Cassie and Nicole do later on in the chapter. )

After Emily is on the bus and on her way to school, I take a quick shower, then blow dry my hair and do my usual morning routine.

Once I'm dressed and ready in one of my new outfits Kim got me from the mall, I grab my glasses and put them on. I then look over to the body length mirror and I am happy with the way I look, and nod in approval.

I head down stairs and grab my bag and my new iPhone X that Kim bought me, and text Cassie and Riley to tell them I'll be ready to be picked up In a couple of minutes. Then I walk into the kitchen to get a muffin.

 I call out a goodbye to Kim and walk out side just in time for Riley and Cassie to show up.

"OH MY GOSH NICOLE! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU GET TO LIVE IN A MANSION?!?" Cassie screams sticking her head out of her window. "I would have but but I knew you would react like that." I say bouncing down the stairs. "Okay I forgive you." Cassie quickly says, while I just role my eyes.

I look around the drive way to see if Dylan's black motorcycle is still here, which by the way is EXTREMELY sexy, but when I don't see it I just shrug it off and hop in the car.

The ride to school was short and did nothing to calm my nerves. Me and Cassie were nervously chatting the entire time about what the people and classes were going to be like.

Once we got to the school Me, Riley, and Cassie grab our things and start heading to the front entrance, but on the way in I see something that makes my heart stop. Right outside the school was a group of people, obviously the popular kids, and in the middle of the circle is Dylan making out with a gorgeous girl, who's sitting on his lap and practically trying to undress herself.

I immediately look away. Cassie notices my sudden mood change and looks over to the group, her eyes widen considerably and she looks between me and the group with a confused expression on her face.

She leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Don't tell me that's Dylan. There's no way that's Dylan." I just nod my head. "No it can't be him he doesn't live in France, it's probably just some other random guy. Don't worry abou-"

"It's him Cassie." I say and I start waking again. Thank goodness Riley already left to go find Gage.

"Really how do you know. It could very well be anyone else.."

I stop her rant right there and start to explain everything that has happened between me and Dylan. How we are living together, and all the events that have occurred since. 

By the time we reached the gym, where we were going to get our schedules and begin orientation, I had explained everything, and Cassie's jaw was hanging open in astonishment. I don't really know what I was expecting her to do, maybe get mad for not telling her sooner or be really sympathetic but all she did was whisper in my ear, "Oh my gosh! I can't believe you saw him naked!!! You're so lucky!"

I giggle at her randomness, but the situation had put me in a sour mood, and a slight frown slipped onto my face. "Oh I'm sorry Nikki. I know you really liked him." I shrugged at Cassie's comment and try to shrug off the unwanted feeling of rejection, but it kept pulling at my heart. 

"I have an idea." Cassie says, with an excited expression glowing on her face. "What if we make up a plan to make him fall in love with you." I roll my eyes, "Seriously Cassie? You've been watching way too many chick-flicks."

"But I'm serious Nikki! It'll be great, You'll see."

One thing you should know about Cassie is she loves a challenging project, and she loves to get into my personal life. Put the two together and there's no stopping her.  And I do have to admit, I'm hopeful that this might work.
