Renee's POV:
Beep. BEEP. BEEP! Okay, I'm up, I'm up. I place my hand on my alarm clock and fall out of bed. Mum comes rushing towards me, "You okay? How did you get on the floor?"
"Long story." I yawn.
"Uh huh. For some reason, I don't believe you."
"Okay, I'm tired. See you in a few hours."
"No, Renee. You have to go now. Illa will be here any minute. Go, go, go!"
"Yeah, I know." I push mum out and get ready, I pull a jumper over my head and tie up my shoes. We'll probably just have a movie marathon. Nothing big. I grab an apple, take a bite and walk out the front door. Minutes later Illa pulls up. "Hey, no slutty clothing, I see. But why do you always have an apple whenever I come over?" I hop into the car. "Yeah, it's healthly. And aren't we having a movie marathon?"
"No, sorry. Got work and then I'm going to the studio."
"It's fine, do you still have some of my clothes?"
"Yep."
"Then lets go."
~~~~Time Lapse~~~~
Problem comes on and Illa startes to sing along, "Hey baby even though I hate ya! I wanna love ya! I want you! And even though I can't forgive you I really want ta! I want you!" Her voice goes high in all the right spots but she doesn't even take lessons. I sing along softly, " Head in the clouds, got no weight on my shoulders. I should be wiser and realise that I've got-" Illa parks the car by the cemetery.
I grab her wrist. "Illa, please. You have to let them go. It wasn't your fault. Illa, please. I'm begging you. You have to move on, Illa. They wouldn't want you to be like this. They-"
"How would you know what they would want?!" The sound of her voice makes me flinch. Her eyes become watery.
"Illa. Please." I stare into her eyes. "This is what they wouldn't have wanted. You know that, Illa. Please." She nods and swaps her seat with me, giving me the keys. I turn the key and the engine hums.
"Illa, why did you take me to the cemetery? You know it brings back painful memories. And your past." I say.
"I'll tell you later. First drop me off at the studio."
"No, I'm coming with you."
"All right." She huffs.
~~~~Time Lapse~~~~
"Show me your pirouette, Renee." Miss Mayben says.
"Okay," (A/N: Check it out, it's at the end of the chapter.)
"Good, Renee. Illa, can you show me yours?"
"Yeah." Illa does the pirouette perfectly. (A/N: Check it out, it's at the end of the chapter.)
"Take a five everybody." Miss Mayben says.
I grab Illa's hand, "Now. Illa, you have to tell me now."
She squrims in my hold, "No, Renee, let go of me. I'll tell you when we get home."
"Illa, I'm worried about you."
"I know. But I need to do it in a secret place."
"Fine."
Illa squirts some water into her mouth and sighs, "I need to go for a run."
Miss Mayben nods, "Time is up. Everybody in position. One more time, then we'll do a warm-down. How's that sound?"
"Good."
