(A/N: Since I am a girl, this will be harder to make a boy-ish POV, so please bear with me. I will edit this later on to just make it more boy-ish though.)

Hamish's POV:

I watch as Quinn holds Chase close. My brother reaches out, touching Quinn's nose with his index finger and smiles, a cute smile. Quinn shakes his head, "Your brother doesn't look like you. He looks more like your-"

"My father, yes, I know, Quinn."

"Sorry, no need to get angry. I'm just stating the fact here. Chase would be as old as Eva." How would he know how old his sister is? She's on the other side of the world with his dad. And the doctors said that he had a tumor in his brain, close to his memories. Was it removed?

"How would you know?"

"I remember. I remember when she was born, when I held her close to my heart and looked into her adorable blue eyes. I remember when mum brought her home and said, 'Shh, you'll wake up Eva.' whenever I made too much noise that day."

"You remember? But I thought that-"

"I know what the doctors said, but I'm better now. My memory is better. I remember it all, Hamish. I remember Jasmine too."

"But the doctors, they said that you'll never remember."

"I know, but they're wrong."

"But your tumor-"

"They removed it."

Maybe I should just let it go. I should be happy that he's alive, not questioning his existence. So I do, I let him be. Sooner or later, I'll know if it's the right choice but for now, I'm glad he's here.

"Ok. What's up? You could have told me before."

"I'm going somewhere, Hamish. You'll never see me again."

"What? Where?"

"One day, Hamish. One day."

"You should be lucky, I'm letting you off easy. At least tell Chase where you're going. We could come with, if you want?"

"Nah man. I couldn't ask you to do that." He comes close and whispers to Chase where he's going. I try to eavesdrop, but Quinn is far too quiet for me to hear him.

And he plops the baby in the cot and opens the front door.

"Quinn! Wait up!"

"Yeah?"

I have a feeling that I know where he's going, but I don't want to say it. So, instead I ask, "Are you going to Mars? Are you going to be part of the fifteen?"

I get no response. "Are you? Quinn? Can't you just tell me?"

"Afraid not, Hamish. I'm afraid not."

"I'm your best mate but you can't tell me where your going? That's hilarious."

"It's not like that!" His voice gruff.

"Let's not argue anymore. I know you have somewhere better to be, don't you?!"

"Hamish, stop this. Not everything revolves around you. "

"Obviously, I mean you won't even tell me anything. And I thought that you were my friend," I give a bitter laugh.

"I can't tell you! God dammit! Don't you realise that?!" Quinn exclaims out, extremely pissed off. He stomps off and slams the door shut.
