Please read the A/N at the end. :)

Ringggggggggggggg

The bell announces our escape and I immediately rush out of class, and head to the cafeteria. Mike made it look like it was his mission to annoy the hell out of me, and if it were for me, I would say mission accomplished. The cafeteria is only half way full when I reach there, and I go to our usual table that consists of Caroline, Spencer, a few bunch of other kids, and I.

I get my food and plop down on the chair next to Abigail that's nibbling on her lettuce.

"Hi." she says in a quiet voice before going back to eating her salad and hiding behind her blonde hair. I guess you can say she's a quiet or even a shy girl.

"Hey!" I say chirpily, my sour mood already gone.

Everybody starts to file in the cafeteria, and soon enough, it's back to its own loud and noisy self. I take a bite out of my tuna sandwich and while listening to Tessa rambling to no one in particular about her vacation in the Bahamas that she's going to in the spring break.

"So where are you going, Valentina?" Rose asks, and everyone's heads turn towards me.

"Nowhere, yet." I say with a small smile, and continue eating. Rose continues looking at me for a few second before changing the subject to upcoming movies.

My mind drifts to Troy and I can't help but look at him. He's laughing at a joke on of the jocks said, and Sky is sticking to him like a magnet. Like, give him some space. Some of the cheerleaders and girls from the swim team are also sitting at the table with them. Maybe I should try out for the swimming team. Not just to sit there with them, but also because water is one of my strong elements. I love swimming anywhere. Oceans, beaches, pools, even a lake! Just the feeling of floating and moving swiftly with water all around me makes me ache for it.

"Daydreaming about Troy?" Tessa says from next to me with a nudge to my elbows.

"No, actually, I was thinking of trying out for the swimming team."

"Oh I wouldn't do that." she says with pursed lips.

"Why?"

"A lot of people have tried out for it and didn't get in. Sky is the captain and chooses who gets in, and because of the brat that she is, she doesn't choose depending on skills. She'll choose you if you're popular and even if she chose for skills, then you better be really good."

She has no right to do that. Okay, maybe she does a little since she's the captain. But as her role as a captain she should be fair, and do what's right for the team. "That's not fair. Does the swimming team coach know that?" I ask, and by now everyone is listening.

"I don't think so, probably not. Of course, Sky wouldn't make anyone tell her and would threaten anyone who'll ruin anything for her." Rose says, but I have a feeling she was directing these words to me and it was more about something else.

"You swim?" Lauren asks.

"Yeah, I love swimming. I guess I'm not that bad in it."

"You need to be more than 'not that bad' for Sky's highness." Abigail jokes with a roll of her eye and everyone laughs except of me.

I'm too busy thinking of a way for my first vengeance plan.

Everybody has a weak point. It's impossible for a person not to have one. It can be a fear, someone they love, or even a secret. Find that weakness point of anyone and you have total control over them. It's one of the many lessons I learnt through my experience.

Now, step one of my plan: Hang around with Sky more, do tons and tons of research about her (know everything about her) from people etc.

At first I wasn't going through with the plan after what Tessa told me, but I decided against it. Sky needs to be fixed. For the sake of everyone around her and for the sake of her. Too many people are getting lost in humanity and it's only a matter of time before I move to the next town. She only has 60 more years of life and no matter how bad she may seem, nobody should ever be like that.

I close my journal where I've been writing my plan steps and decide to start on some research. Dialing Rose's phone I wait for her to answer.

"Hello?"

"Hi, it's me Valentina."

"Oh. What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong, actually. I just wanted to ask you a few questions about the swimming team for my newspaper article. I have to submit it very soon, and I still don't know anything about it." I come up with a lie very quickly on the spot, and feel relieved when I find it convincing.

"The newspaper? You're on the newspaper team?" she asks suspiciously.

"Yeah, I love writing and want to become a journalist when I grow up." I say truthfully.

"Okay, sure. What do you want to know?"

"Tell me about the players, the team work, their championships. You know what I mean."

"Well, to start with, the swimming team is very good; they have won every competition they competed in. The girls there are pretty cool, and the co-captain is actually Georgia, the redhead that sits with us at lunch. But I know you're probably more interested in Sky so I'll start with her."

She started swimming when she was a sophomore and built up her reputation since as the best swimmer in school. The coach saw ambition and determination in her and left her in charge ever since."

"Tell me something big that happened to her. Something that might've affected her." I say, deciding to quit beating around the bush.

A/N

Hullooo!! Another extra chapter! BTW I wrote those all during the week and published them today because something's wrong with Wattpad and won't let me update on my laptop. So, I have to send it to my phone and publish it from there, but I only got my phone from my mother today (punishment *insert eye roll*)

And I might change my updating due dates. So I'm going to be updating three times every Thursday and once in Friday :). Also,I posted the cast on the fifth chapter. I changed Valentina into Georgia May Foote.

Until next time,
