'Now, any last words to Yoongi before you go?' "Taehyung" asked Hoseok, who slowly nodded weakly in agreement.
"Yoongi-ah . . . I never told you this, without my heart fluttering, with butterflies in my stomach, o-or my face burning hotter than the sun . . . but I-I love you."
"I love you too--"
"No. Th-that's not what I m-meant." Hoseok stuttered out, causing Yoongi's eyebrows to scrunch up together and his lips to purse in confusion. "I love you, like . . . . . well, what I'm trying to say is . . . I-I'm in love with you."
Yoongi couldn't believe his ears. Jung Hoseok was in love with him??? Did he really just hear Hoseok right? Hoseok winced, clutching his ribcage as he struggled to stand up.
"A-And I know you don't feel the same way -- that you'll never feel the same for me as I do for you. But I just had to get it out of my system. And I'm sorry for not protecting you and the others like I promised Seokjin hyung."
"Hoseok--"
'Times up. Say goodbye Hoseok . . .'
"No! Hoseok, please. Don't do this!!!"
"I love you, hyung."
"Hoseok, don't you dare."
Taehyung smiled evilly as he stuck his hand into Hoseok's chest and ripped his heart out, causing Hoseok to immediately collapse to the floor.
"Hoseok~!!!" Yoongi rushed forward, ignoring how much the force field was electrocuting him, and he surprisingly actually broke through it. Taehyung stared at his son in complete shock while Yoongi scrambled to his feet in order to reach Hoseok's limp body. "Hoseok-ah," Yoongi whispered, cupping the younger's cheek in his hand. "I'm so sorry . . . I should have known. I should've asked. I should have loved you more. At least then you'd still be happy."
Taehyung put a hand on Yoongi's shoulder who jerked away at the touch. 'Why are you so upset over this boy. Why are you so attached to this kid? What has he done for you, that I can't do for you myself?!'
"I'm upset because he's my best friend and you just killed him. And he's done so much more to make me happy than you ever could."
'He could've been dangerous. You can't trust anyone.'
"You killed my friends . . . my-my brother-- your own son?! What did Seokjin hyung ever do to you?! What wrong did he commit that he deserved to be killed?! Why???!!!" Yoongi winced clutching his head as an old vague memory burned through the surface of his mind.~Flashback~
"And then what happened, eomma?" Yoongi asked looking up curiously at his mother with curiosity sparkling in his big, dark eyes.
"He left for a while, met a pretty woman, and she knew dark magic too."
"Wow!" Yoongi gasped in excitement. "How cool!"
"Mm-hmm. But one day . . . they- they had a child. A beautiful little baby boy named Seokjin. But the only problem was, his first wife never knew that he was living his life with another woman, because he had told her he would go on a long hunting trip."
"Wait . . . he lied?"
"Yes, my dear. So when the man came back he lived with his first wife again they had an adorable little boy named Yoongi. But not much longer, Yoongi's mother found out about Seokjin and his mom, so she took Yoongi with her and she left him and didn't come back."
"Hey, his name was Yoongi, just like me!" The child squeaked out a giggling laugh.
"That's right, my love." Yoongi's mother smiled ruffling his soft brown hair.
"But what can I learn from this, eomma?"
"Sometimes, all people need is to be loved, Yoongi. Love when it's pure is like a blossom. You must treasure everyone you love in your future Yoongi. Otherwise, they could be gone before you can even blink an eye."
"I will eomma." Yoongi smiled.
