Chapter 9: why am I so stupid

Max's PoV

  I started to get mad at myself and hit a wall when Adam, Ross, Barney and Red walked in. "Max what's wrong?" Adam asked " Oh Y/n just left to go stay with her friend for 2 days because she thinks we need space" I replied and then I started to cry again. "Max it will be okay, she will be back in 2 days and you two will be back to normal" Ross said trying to stop me from crying "yes I know that but it was all over something stupid and I was the one for not noticing that we haven't been on a date yet" I said as I was about to punch the wall again when Red, Barney and Adam grabbed me and took me away from the wall. 

Adam's PoV

Max is not okay I need to get Y/n back here and get those two to talk. I want my friends to be happy and have a good relationship but something has happened and the two of them need to talk about it. Barney, Red and Ross are trying to stop Max from crying and wanting to punch walls. "Max we are going to stay will you and Ross until Y/n is back because we are worried about you" I said as I looked at Barney and Red "yeah we will stay here for two days and wait with you until Y/n walks through the door" Red said. "well I guess I don't get a vote here so okay you guys can stay" Max said.  

(Time skip 2 days)

2 days have passed now and its 6 pm where is Y/n she should of come back by now. I remembered that Y/n gave me her friends number because Y/n wanted to invite her to the offices to meet everyone and Y/n wanted me to invite her. 

Phone call (A = Adam) (F = F/n)

A: hi is this F/n?

F: yes this is why?

A: well I'm Adam and I'm friends with Y/n and I wanted to know if she was with you?

F: she was here but she left at 2 pm so I don't know where she is now.

 A: thank you, bye 

 F: bye

call ends.

Max's PoV 

Where is Y/n she would of been home by now. "Max I have some news" Ross said as he told me to go down stairs "MAX RUN NOW PLEASE JUST GO I DON'T WANT YOU TO GET HURT" Y/n shouted as a man pointed a gun to her head "WHY SHOULD I RUN I LOVE YOU Y/n AND I'M NOT LETTING YOU GO AGAIN" I shouted "MAX PLEASE THIS IS ONE OF MY EX'S AND THEY WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE ME UPSET PLEASE MAX LEAVE PLEASE I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU" she shouted back "okay I will just walk back upstairs and use the bathroom" I said as I walked up the stairs. "Adam you still in the bathroom?" I whispered "yes why Max" he whispered back "call the police now and say they need to get here quickly" I whispered back "Okay will you tell me later why" he asked "yes" I said as I slowly walked away from the bathroom.

Y/n PoV

Max why didn't you just leave Barney and Red are just trying to stay out of it all. I want my ex to stop but he wont so I just have to work out what I can do to. "its the pizza guy open the door please" said a police officer "okay" said my ex "put the gun down and put your hands behind your head" said the police officer and then he put handcuff on my ex and took him away. "MAX, I'M SO SORRY I LEFT. I wish I just stayed here with you and none of this would of happened" I said as I was running towards Max. "Y/n I'm sorry for not understanding how you have been feeling. Please never leave me like that again" Max replied "I will never leave you side Max" I said as I started to cry. "awww" said Barney, Adam and Red. (Ross went to bed when the police left) "Okay guys you better head home now" Max said "okay see you two at work in a week" Adam said as he closed the door. Me and Max went to his room because he wanted to go to bed and I just wanted to be with him so we got into bed. We just looked into each others eyes until we both fell asleep.
