Someone Calling (21)

Nancy's POV

As I turned I was shocked.

"Derek! What the hell you just scared me" I yell at him.

"Why are you sharing the room with Mike?"

"Excuse me?" I asked angrily.

"You heard what I said"

"What is wrong with you?"

"Nothing! Just answer my question"

"Well I am not your slave so I won't bother answering that"

"You will have to answer it" he said to me and his eyes looking at me angrily.

"No" I said and turned around and started walking.

But just after a split second he held me by my arms and stopped me.

I tried to free myself.

"God! Derek just leave me"

"First answer"

"What is with this crazy behaviour? Are you on drugs or what?" I said in a funny tone. However he was still all tensed up.

He further stared at me so I gave up.

"Fine. Nothing just that I wanted mel and infact every couple in our group to spend their alone time. I don't want to bother them for small small things"

"No nancy, this is not a small thing and you are my best friend I will never be bothered. We can exchange the rooms. You can stay with hannah" he was angry but replied in a soft tone.

"Well thanks but no thanks" I repled almost annoyed.

Who is he to tell me with whom I can share my room or whatsoever.

"Why can't you just agree with what I say?"

"Firstly because you are not my boyfriend. And secondly you have no valid reason to argue about whom I share my room and geez man its such a small thing. You are making such a big issue out of it"

"But..." He begins to say someing but I stop him halfway.

"And plus I do really like him as in it may be possible that in coming days I might be dating him. You never know" I said with a small smile.

He was silent now. Without saying even a single word or any other gesture he simply left.

"You are weird and an asshole" I yelled at him as he was walking towards the porch.

I so hate him. How come we were like best friends. We shared so much, and our talks never used to end. But now all we do is either fight or avoid each other.

I decided not to waste my refreshing walk on this beautiful beach by some dumbass.

My eyes opened to the sunrays on my eyes. It took a moment for me to adapt my eyes. After finally rubbing them with my eyes I opened them and remembered that I am in LA.

Soon I stood up, wondering where Mike was because he was not on his couch.

I soon saw a note left next to bed. It read as..

Dear Nancy,

We all were up early and decided not to disturb you so come to the beach if you don't find us in the house.

That was sweet I thought.

I made my way to bathroom. Took a nice shower and wore my blue bikini. Also a loose tank top and denim shorts which are way too short, but hey what else are we supposed to where in LA.

I did my hair in a nice bun and place my lotions and other necessities into my handbag and made my way down with my sunglasses too.

As expected no one was there. It was just 9.30 so they might have not left so early. I made my way to the porch and to the beach.

But when I reached there was no one. Not even one familiar face.

I called mike, but no answer. Same thing happened with melisa too. God I just hope they are all ok.

I was about to call holly, when my phone rang off. I expected it to be one from one of these idiot friends of mine but instead it was an unknown number.

Who is this person I thought but I picked it up anyways.

And then.....
