Nancy's POV

Everything was like going perfect in my life for the moment.

My two best friends melisa and lucas are happy with their love life which indeed makes me happy.

And most importantly 'The Derek Weston' was actually becoming my best friend. And he was like actually trying serious relationship with my childhood friend hannah.

I still remember hating him and all. Well time passes quickly. Now he is happy too.

But I am happy because my parents and my friends are happy. Thats all matters to me at present.

Ding dong ding dong......

Someone eagerly wanted to meet me I guess.

"Coming.. Wait a bit" I said it loud for the person to hear me.

I opened the door and to my not astonishment it was derek.

For the past two weeks since he started dating hannah like an actual date, he is either asking me about where to take her or what to gift her and all.

I always wondered how can such a playboy not know what would please a beautiful women.

I helped him anyways so that atleast I won't have to see the old derek once again.

"Come out of your dreamy world and help me" he snapped at me.

"What! I am not dreaming! And what the hell are you doing at my place this late? Don't you have a very special date with hannah?"

"Yeah I have but I forgot something" he said.

I was like 'What the hell dude'

"What now derek? I helped you with the place of your so called date also helped to pick up a beautiful dress for her. Now what do you expect me to do? Come with you to pick her and also order us food? Well then you are wrong because I won't" I almost yelled at him.

Because everything was done and he was still bugging me. Plus he was spoiling my good mood.

"BUT I AM HERE TO SAY THANKYOU TO YOU" he said shutting me up.

"Wait.. What?!"

"Nan, I am here to thankyou because you helped me a lot for hannah and for everything. So a big thankyou to you"

As soon as these words left his mouth I just stood there shocked.

He came closer and hugged me tightly. I hugged him too. After all it was so sweet if him to come and thank me. He is such a sweetheart.

Before I could say anything to him my ringtone blarred into my ear.

I moved away from derek. And told him "Just a sec"

He replied "No problem"

I answered the phone. It was from an unknown number so I just said

"Hey"

Someone from the other side asked "Is this Nancy Stewart?"

"Yes, Its me Nancy"

"So maam here we have a situation, we just found two people injured in a car accident and this number was on the favourite list...."

Before she spoke anything I sank into my thoughts. Because mel and erin are probably in their way to see erin's sister and lucas and stacy have gone out of town with a few friends to hang out and have fun. God I just hope they all are ok.

She continued "The female is badly injured with multiple injuries and the male is also unconscious so nothing can be said. They are Mrs. Stewart and I guess the other one is her husband Mr. Stewart. If you know them then please come immediately to St. Martin's hospital, lexington and....."
