Jason's POV
"Father!" Damian yelled. "I thought we were lost. And we need to get Jason out of the water."
I bent down to the short kid. And tapped his head. "Um... Demon Spawn? I am right here."
He turned around to face me instead of Bruce. "Not you! I mean Jason my pet dolphin."
"Awwww..... You named your dolphin after me..... It it cuz you wuv me?"
He started to get angry and started to blush. "N-no Todd! Why would I care about you!"
Back to normal I guess. Oh well.
"Wait! You have a pet dolphin?" Bruce asked.
"Yes I do. And I named him Jason because he gets angry and can be annoying father."
Bruce sighed. "Why do I seemed so surprised?"
I was waiting for the right moment to snap at Bruce. What would I say? How about "Bruce you butthole! How dare you send your own son on this flipping trip and not even notice he was gone three extra days!" or just punch the heck out of him.
But why do I even care? At least I didn't have to look at his nasty face. OMG.... Is this.... What love feels like?
Shit.
I think, I am in love! I think I am! Not like that, but brotherly love. I am starting to love my little brother. Should I scream at his father?
"Damian. I-I do love you." I can not believe this.
Bruce's eyes were wide now. "What." It wasn't even a question.
"Um... Todd? I think you need to lay down." Damian said, dragging me updtairs.
I stopped him though. And I hugged the little demon again, but tighter, more lovingly.
"Oh my god. RICHARD!' Bruce called.
Dick came running down the stairs. "Ya-" he was stopped by our hug. "What the...... Jason we need to get you to the hospital!"
I laughed. "No Dickie Bird. I just love the demon now."
"I need to go to the tower and see how the others are acting....." and he ran to the door, but first he whispered something to Bruce
