'King of Toy Retires: 16-year old Son to Step Up'

That was the big headlines in major newspapers and local news for the next few days after the announcement. It was a buzz in the social media as well with 'tfkingdom' became the trending topic on Weibo. Many people were skeptical with this appointment though, they simply thought that a school boy should not hold such an important position, and some even accused that Wang Junkai was simply a spoiled kid.

The boy in question though, had no time to react to these things. In fact, after recovering from his initial shock, Karry suddenly found himself in a hell lot of work. He never thought that becoming a CEO means a really busy and hectic life. His father arranged lots of meetings to introduce him to the staffs as well as big customers. He was briefed in multiple sessions about the company's current situation, operation, as well as finances, which gave him a lot of trouble. He had difficulty understanding all these financial terms.

He toured the factory, as well, which was a new thing to him and again there were a lot of things that he needed to learn, and quickly. His favorite part from the company was the design center, where lots of prototype toys were being developed. He spent a lot of time playing with those toys and ignored every explanation that the designer gave for each one.

The staffs and employees were rather worried with this change as well. In theory everything should remain the same, as Mr. Wang had said, and the fact that he will be Karry's advisor suggested that he might still have some influence on the company itself. However they were rather concerned about Karry's personality. The boy was generally reserved, but has short temper and he often burst into anger for trivial things. He scolded one staff for calling him 'Junkai', and he demanded everyone to call him 'President Karry' or 'President Junkai' afterwards, threatening to fire them if they didn't do so. This prompted the employees to wonder how would this emotionally unstable boy be able to guide the company forward, if he couldn't even control himself.

On his last day of work, Mr. Wang called his son and they had a face to face conversation in his office.

"Xiaokai, I hope by now you have a good idea of what the company's doing, and starting from tomorrow I will officially stop working here. Also, your press conference is scheduled for tomorrow, think of it as your first job as a president."

"What should I say to them?" Karry asked lazily. "I don't have much to talk. I don't want to look stupid by throwing irrelevant statements."

"Just introduce yourself, tell them what you know about the company, something on that kind will be fine. If you don't want to talk, let them ask the questions and try your best to answer them."

Karry nodded shortly. "Also, Xiaokai, you are a public figure now. You should refrain from doing rash things, especially in front of the media. Don't lose your temper even if they asked you an offensive question. Either answer them diplomatically, or just decline to answer. That would be good. Media loves gossip and it will hinder your work."

The boy rolled his eyes and grumbled. "They should learn to mind their own business."

"Other people's business are their business, Xiaokai."

The next morning Karry entered his office with a hope that this unnecessary press conference would be over soon. To his dismay, he found that there's more media people attending compared to last week's. Apparently since last week's announcement was a kind of surprise, this time people were already expecting what will happen. He entered the auditorium greeted by massive amount of camera flashes, much to his annoyance because it made his eyes dazzling.
