Chapter 5

We walked back into my house and sat down on the sofa.

"I feel really bad," I said, thinking of Jade.

"She'll come round," Cameron said putting his arm around me and cuddling me close.

"I think you better go, I just need time to think that's all," I said pulling away and standing up.

Cameron nodded slowly and stood up, straightening his shirt and walking to the front door.

"I'll see you in school tomorrow I guess?" He said, his hand on the door handle.

"Yeah,"

It was 12am and I was lying in bed, thinking about the day's events.

Jade has been my best friend since elementary school and I really love her. We've been there for each other through thick and thin, but she's always been the kindest one.

I always stole all her ex boyfriends. It's not my fault they were hawt. She didn't mind but now she hates my guts. She loved Cameron so much, and he cheated on her. With me. No wonder she's mad.

I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew it was morning.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside and jumped out of bed.

It was 8am and I had 40 minutes to get ready. My class started at 9am and I left at 8:40.

I put on my school uniform and grabbed my school bag.

I went downstairs and made myself cereal. After I ate my cereal and brushed my hair, it was time to leave so I said goodbye to my parents and walked out of the house.

I walked into the front doors of the school and immediately saw Jade talking to Shannon and Josie, the two girls I absolutely hated.

I walked up to them and patted Jade's shoulder.

"Hey Jade, what's up?" I said smiling pretending yesterday didn't happen. 

Jade rolled her eyes, and walked off with Shannon and Josie.

My shoulders slumped and I walked to my locker where all my books for first lesson were.

"Um hi, I'm new here and I don't have a clue where to go," this boy said to me, making me turn around to face him.

He had blonde hair with bright blue eyes. He had his bag on one shoulder, and a cute smile on his face. Damn, he was cute!

"Where do you need to go?" I said, slamming my locker shut and holding my books for next lesson tightly.

"I got my schedule, and next lesson I got History in room 63," he said glancing at his timetable.

Omg!! He's in my history class. Yay!

"Oh, I got history next. Looks like we are in the same class," I said trying to sound casual.

"That's good haha, at least I know someone now," he said smiling.

That smile is just gorgeous!

"Yeah haha, what's your name by the way? I'm Alice," I said.

"Nice to meet you Alice, I'm Hayes," he said getting out his phone.

Awkward!!!!

"Sooo should we get to History class?" I asked trying to make it less awkward.

"Yeah wait a sec," he said still on his phone.

I tried to pretend I was doing something so I got my phone out also.

"So what's your number?" Hayes asked me.

Omg...that's why he got his phone out...for my number!!!!

"Oh pass your phone and I'll write it in for you," I said casually.

He passed me his phone and I wrote my details in quickly and he done the same on my phone.

"C'mon, let's go to history," Hayes said smiling and putting his phone back in his pocket.

We walked side by side to history.
