The Witness Protection Program offers a lot of things. For starters, it offers you a new life away from the gangs and violence you grew up in. You wouldn't wake up to brown grass and trashed streets. You get a new opportunity to live the rest of your life clean. It would be a dream come true for a number of reasons that are redundant for explanation.
But when you find yourself halfway across the world with nothing but your five friends, bloody clothes, and two rosary necklaces, it wasn't specifically what you hoped for. Your dark past has you on a leash too hard to break from and you are dragged through the mud as you battle something bigger than what you thought.

Now you have to fight yourself in order to find out who you really are. It wasn't until you find Jungkook. At first you thought it was a joke that life played on you making you believe that his feelings could ever be bigger than a simple crush he had on the new girl.
