"We have a Competition everyone! The Magic Council stated that there's too many Mages in the one area, so we have to split the school into Guilds. At the Guilds, you will be finishing up your studies and going on jobs."

"But that will be explained once we're all in our proper Guilds. Anyway, this Competition had lots of sports and activities, you must participate in at least one!"

"Then we'll have a short test which will give us different percentages. Whichever Guild percentage you scored most highest in will be the Guild you're in. But you can quit the Guild and join another if you don't like it." Mira said with the microphone.

The whole school was in the Auditorium, children as young as six to teens as old as eighteen. I guess this is a school you can stay at for your whole school life.

"This Competition will be held all around the school, there'll be different areas for different sports, and the Dining Room will be open all hours! Have fun!" Mira waved us goodbye and let Master take over.

He gave us a few heads up on upcoming fundraisers and we left. "Oh you watch how we are going to have 'fun' games." Levy rolled her eyes. "What games?" I question. "All the 'sport' games." Levy-chan waves her hand in dismissal. "What's with you?" I ask.

"Levy-chan, Levy-chan, all my muscles are hurting! I don't know why, it feels like they were pulled!" We were in our dorm room and I suddenly collapsed onto my bed. "What?! I think ice will help!" She went to the freezer and got out an ice pack.

But it didn't help, all it did was make me feel cold.
"I'll go get Kinana and Juvia, maybe they know what to do!" Levy runs out of the room. I was sweating all over, yeah I know, gross, and I felt hot and cold. I heard the bell chimes of a gate opening, and a rainbow coloured magic circle appeared on the table.

A new key holder appeared with keys appearing one by one. The sound of tinkling reached my ears as I realised I was walking towards them. Then another magic circle appeared, this time purple.

Twelve keys and a key holder materialise. I take my golden and silver key holder and place it on the table next to them.

My necklace's bells tinkled in the sudden wind, the window had slammed open. "Lucy?" My friends call as I stared outside. Then they gasp. "Don't touch them, they haven't exactly turned solid yet." I say quickly, still staring outside.

"Sorry Lucy, I never told you about these." Mamma's voice cut through the air as her spirit appeared. "Mamma?" Tears blurred my vision. "Don't cry Lucy, this is the only time I'll ever be able to see you again."

"But Mamma—" She placed a finger on my mouth to make me stop. "Let me explain. The Dragons let me come tell you in person. These are your new Keys, your new Spirits. There are 1200 Dragon Keys and 24 Mystic Keys."

She looks behind me to see my new friends. "Girls, please tell Headmaster Makarov, but don't trust anyone else with this information. I know for a fact Master will keep it a secret if I want it a secret." My mother smiles her warm smile.

"Mamma, what am I mean to do with the Dragon and Mystic Keys?" I ask. "Ask them for help, just like the Golden and Silver Key Spirits." She answers. "Levy, Kinana and Juvia, please stick with her, sometimes she does irrational and reckless things."

My mother's laugh sounded like bells jingling in the wind.
"Aye sir!" They salute her.
