"Gray, I need to tell you something important. Don't call me a sissy otherwise I will murder you." I say in the most serious tone I could muster. "Fine. What's wrong?" He answers.

We were sitting on the bench for subs in basketball. Ice Pops and I were taking a break. "You know that new girl?" I start. "Yeah, why?" He inquires. "Well, she reminds me of that friend I used to have."

He waited patiently. "Back when I was like, four or something, I had a friend named Lucy. We were really close, and one day, she gave me this." I twist my hand to show the bracelet I always wear. It's bells jingle.

"It was the day her mother died. I never saw her again. But the other day, when I went on a date with the new girl, she had the exact same copy of my bracelet, just necklace form."

"The problem is, Lucy from twelve years ago had a necklace matching my bracelet." I finish, leaving Stripper speechless.
"Well... You wanna ask her where she got it from?" He points his thumb towards the gymnastics area.

Lucy was there, and my fake personality broke. It shattered into a million pieces, never to be glued back together. "I can't be like I am anymore." I sigh. "Why? Isn't it fun?" Gray answers. "No, I'm hurting people dammit." I sigh.

"Doesn't it make you feel anything?" I continue with guilt.
"Well... It makes me feel guilty and depressed." He answers truthfully. "There. See? We need to stop." I reply. He nods.

"Alright then, how 'bout we start with the basketball team?" Gray asks. "Yes, let us begin to make people think we are crazy. Operation We-Are-Quitting-And-We-Sound- Like-We're-Lying-But-We're-Not." I smile.

"Operation WAQAWSLWLBWN." Gray shortens. "That sounds horrible. How about Operation Quit?" He nods. "Yeah, God that was hard to say."

"Hey guys! We're quitting!" We yell at our teams. "What?!" A random brunette yelled. "You heard us. WE'RE QUITTING!!!" Gray and I yell in synchronisation. This time, we didn't get mad at each other for saying what the other thought.

"Quitting what?" The basketball teams stop. "Flamebrain and I can't be Players anymore." Ice Popsicle shook his head. "Player as in basketball or the other one?" Lyon asks. "The other one." I answer.

"Oh thank God!" Warren sighs in relief. "Well you guys keep playing, we're checking other stuff out." Stripper waves his hand and we walk away.

"Well then, that was a big achievement." Gray sighs. "Word's gonna spread like wildfire." I laugh as a small flame burns on my hand. "Haha, I know right." Gray laughs with me.

We walked for a little bit, talking about how we're going to not make others feel sad.

"Impressive." The black and white haired Mage we all hate inside says to Lucy. We'd come into earshot of everything in the gymnastics area. "Impressive what?" I ask and stand beside the blonde.

"She's got skills." He says. "What are you doing here anyway?" He continues. "I came to ask Lucy something, what are you doing here Midnight?" I answer.

"I was doing exactly what it looks like, commenting on this lovely lady's talent." He smiles as he gestures in Lucy's general direction.

She started backing away, slowly. Her blue haired companion walked up to her. "I think we should go." She whispers. My Dragon Slayer senses heard her distress.

I wondered if Lucy knew anything about Oracion Seis.

"Well then, I suppose your work here is done?" I inquire.  Midnight looked offended. "No, I was going to murder her." He answers. "WHAT?!" Lucy asks, horrified.

Midnight laughs. "Jokes, I was going to say how great Levy's skills were too." He turns and leaves, smirking. "Oh my god, his jokes really suck." Ice Pops shakes his head as if he were disappointed in Midnight.

"I don't think that was a joke." Levy, the Script Mage, looked very worried. Lucy laughs nervously as she realised something. Well that's what it looked like.

My bracelet began warming up, I only realised because it was hotter than the heat radiating off my body. "Oh yeah, I came to ask you—"    "—Lucy-sama!" Our water Mage yells. "Yeah?" She turns.

"Mira-san said that we can make our own milkshakes!" She yelled happily. "Well... Natsu wanted to ask me something." She says, looking back at me with a pointed look. I sigh with relief.

"So you wanna come later?" Levy asks from Juvia's side. "Yeah." She waves her hand. I glance at Gray and he had a peculiar look on his face. I think it's called 'longing'.

"I'm going to the sculpture place. See ya." He says, walking away. "Well that happened. You wanna go to the Dining Room and ask me whatever you want there?" Lucy asks, surprising me to my core.
