--- Michael's POV ---

I raised my head, gazing at the people walking out of the small booth in the alley. A tall, toned woman and a small albino child. I grinned. 'You look like your father, kid... Almost exactly like him. I suppose the nose is your mothers, but I've never met her, so I wouldn't know...' I strode forward, while the woman was looking away, and knelt in front of him.

He looked at me, and I smiled. "Hello. Two things, quickly. I'm in a hurry. One. You look like your father. And two, my name is Michael Garçon. I served your father for his entire life. You'll see more of me. Send for me when you want answers about what you are."

I stood and walked away as the woman turned to us. She called out, "Who are you? Ezra, are you alright?"

I slipped into the crowd, straining to hear. 'His name is Ezra? Heh. Ethan would've approved.'

"I'm fine..." He said. "He wasn't going to hurt me..."

"Of course not, I'm here." She grinned.

"No. He wanted to tell me something... He said he served my father for his entire life. And that he had answers as to WHAT I am." The boy said.

She blinked. "Oh? And did he grace you with his name?"

"Michael." He said.

'Damn... He told her my name, I didn't think he trusted her that much. Well, at least he didn't-'

"Michael Garçon." He completed his sentence.

'Shit...'

"I'll have Batman run the Name... Hmm... Well, I'm sure it's fine-"

"No. I'm going after him. He knows about my parents, and we can take him." He huffed, and started stomping after me, making cracks in the pavement.

I chuckled from the rooftop, and watched until she noticed me and then simply flew towards me. I slipped backwards in shock, and started running, at full speed. She quickly caught up, and grabbed my collar. As soon as her fingers touched me, I sent her flying back with the momentum of a ballistic missile.

She stopped flying, and I turned to look where I was going. I skidded to a halt, in front of an angry Ezra. I held up a hand to block the punch he was throwing, quickly calculating what the force would be to counter it perfectly. There was a shockwave, and all the glass on the buildings around us shattered, as the ungodly forces collided violently.

He blinked, and I grinned, hiding my shattered wrist. "Damn, kid! I said I'd see you soon, I really am in a hurry! I've got business to attend to, but we will have a long, very detailed conversation about your family and my connection to it, okay?"

He stepped back, wary of me now. "Sure... I'm Ezra, by the way."

"Nice to meet you." I grinned. Then I leapt off, and made my way to the New York Branch Office of our NASA affiliated company, Accel Inc.

I walked into my office. "Sir? Your suit is scratched." My attendant spoke up. I looked. My jacket had a small tear in the shoulder seam. I took it off and handed it to her, nodding in thanks, and headed into the conference room.

"Hello, gentlemen, ladies. Now. Any scribe who is not a trusted member of this board leave the room. Now. This is an undocumented meeting." I said, sitting at the head of the table. Three scribes left.

"What's the meaning of this meeting, sir?" One of the board asked. A cousin of mine.

"Simple. I've found or dear Late Ethan's only Son. He's in good health, and under the protection of the Justice League. Wonder Woman in particular seems to have taken an interest in tutoring him. He requires no assistance from us." I smiled.
