--- Ezra's POV ---

I stepped off the plane, and immediately collapsed, hugging the dirt. "Land! Sweet land!!!"

"It wasn't THAT bad." Diana smiled, picking me up.

"I hate heights in the first place, and then add in an invisible plane? That was insane. Let's never do that again." I crossed my arms.

"You'll have to get used to planes eventually. And you can fly. Why are you afraid of heights?" She started walking with me on her back.

"I fell three miles the day I was born. I don't like heights. I never have, and I never will. And I can't fly. I can fling myself to great heights and fall with style, but that's it." I said, and sat my chin on her shoulder.

"Hmm..." She said, and continued walking.

Suddenly, several women landed in front of us, and greeted Diana. "Hello, Diana. Who is this, you've brought?"

"This is Ezra. He's living with me for now. Batman thought it was too dangerous to let him live in New York, surrounded by all that turmoil." Diana said, pulling me in front of her.

I waved a little. "Hi."

They seemed to be conflicted, though with what I wasn't sure. Eventually one walked forward. "Hello, young Ezra. Why did you have to leave New York?"

"It wasn't safe for them." I said, scuffing my torn boots.

"Who?" She asked, kneeling to my level.

I shrugged. "The City."

She blinked. "I see. Well, I'm sure it'll be better here. We still have conflict, but not as much as the cities, from what I hear. Most problems are solved with violence, but it's tightly controlled. You'll have fun, though, I promise."

I smiled. "I hope so. I'm Ezra. And you?"

"Athena." She said, returning my smile. "My friends are Maria and Cleo." They waved.

Diana tapped my shoulder. "Looks like your construct is arriving."

The second plane touched down, and Superman walked out, carrying my apartment. I grinned. "Thanks, Supes! I've got it from there." I tapped it, and started carrying it over my head. I pushed off of the ground, and launched up about fifty feet. I set the building to levitate, and then looked for a water supply. I looked at Diana, who was flying around it. "Where's a good water source that flows into the ocean, not a river?"

Athena answered, surprising me. "There's a spring that way. Why?"

I followed her finger, and set a sort of trick up with gravity. Instead of going down, the gravity of the water believed the house was down. That way, the water simply flowed towards the house. I set a gravity mineral filter, and then set the point of gravity attraction to the main pipe under the house. I started the waste piping, cycling clean water through it to set the path to the garden. I also deconstructed all light that touched the waste channel, so it appeared black, not see-through, and then hardened the outside into stone like consistency. After that was done, I activated the Solar Generator. "Ha. And Voila! A home built and powered. Now here should I move it? Is there a specific spot?" I asked Diana.

"Yes, a little closer to the city? It's still a hike to get there." She said.

I nodded. "Good idea." I started moving it forward, making sure to stretch the water pipeline a little. I settled it above the city, and grinned. "Perfect." I looked down, and gasped.

Diana chuckled. "Yes. It's magnificent, isn't it?"

"Wow... Yeah... It's beautiful." I said.

"Indeed." She smiled. "And that... That's my home. Come." She grabbed my hand, pointing at the house at the peak of the hill. I yelped and fell when she pulled me off the balcony, and clutched her leg. She laughed. "Sorry, I forgot." She pulled me into her arms, and carried me.
