3rd person P.O.V following Aleks:
He felt sadness surge through his body as he heard his housemate greet his girlfriend at the front door. He sighed as he accepted the fact that the alone time he had with the Latino man was over, getting up from the couch and turning off the Xbox they were playing with. It was hard enough to convince his friend to sit down and actually play with him, Sly had barely talked during the whole thirty minutes they were playing. He passed the duo as he walked through the hallway to his room, much to his dismay.
"Hey Aleks," Nathalie greeted.
He just waved in response, not bothering to try to make his voice sound happy if he spoke.
He continued his way to his room, letting out a defeated sigh as he let himself plop down on his bed.
He hated this, the depressing feeling that couldn't help but torment him when the couple was together. He hated when she would come over unexpectedly, causing Eddie to end their alone time early. He despised the fact that the time that he had with older man was becoming more and more rare. But, most of all, he fucking hated that they were together.
Why? Well, ever since his relationship with his last girlfriend, Tiffany, had ended, he noticed some odd feelings for Eddie. They were feelings he never experienced before, feelings that he couldn't describe. After a while, he decided that his feelings were better defined by the word 'love'.
It completely baffled him when he understood what he was experiencing. After all, he wasn't gay, right? Wrong, he was. And to think he realized all of this less than two months ago, all in the same night.
He heard a knock at the locked door of his room.
"Aleks, are you alright?"
To his surprise, it was Seamus' voice. He was disappointed, it wasn't the voice he hoped to hear, but Eddie was too distracted in his own girlfriend to even pay attention to him.
"Yeah, dude, I'm fine," he responded quickly after he realised that his friend was still waiting for an answer.
"Could you unlock the door? I want to talk to you."
He sighed and doubtfully opened the door, curious to what his co-worker wanted to talk about.
Seamus took the liberty to sit on my bed, patting the spot next to him. Aleks closed the door behind him, not bothering to lock it this time, and sat next to him.
Finding the silence uncomfortable, Aleks decided he should speak first.
"So, when did you get here?" he asked.
"Just now, actually."
"Oh," he replied simply.
"Look Aleks, I came here to talk to you about something," the Irish man declared, a serious look on his face.
"Yeah, you said that already, what's up?"
"That's what I wanted to ask you. Aleks, you've been so... silent and... depressed lately," he stated bluntly.
"What? I don't know what you're talking about," the so-called 'depressed one' replied, trying to look oblivious.
"Aleks, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about."
He sighed, feeling defeated.
"Is it really that obvious?"
"It's obvious enough for James, Dan, Jordan, Sp00n and I to notice. We're all worried about you, man."
"Did Sly notice?" the Russian questioned out of the blue.
"I don't know, he hasn't talked about it so I guess not."
"Of course, big surprise," Aleksandr thought, frustrated.
"Anyways, what's up?"
"Nothing."
"Come on Aleks, be honest. I won't tell anyone, I promise."
Tired of beating around the bush, the saddened YouTuber decided he might as well just spill everything.
"First, I-I'm gay," he paused, waiting for a reaction.
"That's fine Aleks, I have nothing against gays, continue."
"And, I like Eddie. I'm just annoyed that he never has time for me anymore, every time Nathalie comes over, he never talks to me. He's been acting all distant, as if telling me he just doesn't want to talk to me anymore, period."
"I see, is that all?"
"No," Aleks said, then sighed. He was about to say something he never had the courage to admit to himself before.
"Ever since I realized I liked him, I tried hinting at it, before he started ignoring me. The more I hinted my feelings, the more distant he would become and the more emphasis he would put on the fact that we were best friends, nothing more," he admitted, tears threatening to flow.
The other Creature nodded, agreeing.
"I noticed that, but I just thought it was something he liked bragging about. He always says something like 'hey, best friend' or 'I want to go with Aleks, you know, since he's my best friend' it's really weird, now that I think about it."
The confessing man nodded, looking down at the floor to keep his friend from seeing the tears that were starting to fall.
"Hey man, you alright?"
Out of nowhere, the brunette started sobbing loudly, covering his face with his hands. Seamus, as if knowing that this was going to happen, immediately wrapped his arms around the Russian, letting his cry on his shoulder.
"It's okay, Aleks, it'll be alright, let it out," the blonde man whispered in a soft tone.
After a half hour of crying, Aleks' sobs were interrupted by a female voice.
"Later little butt, I love you!"
"I love you too, Nat, see you later," Eddie's voice replied.
Aleks chocked on a sob, leaning further into Seamus' shoulder.
The sound of the front door closing was heard, as well as the sound of footsteps becoming more distant.
Seamus let go of the brunette, who had run out of tears to shed.
"I'm going to go talk to Sly, alright?"
Before Aleks had time to respond, his friend was out the door.
