3rd person P.O.V following Aleks:
Aleks put the bloody blade back in his hoodie pocket and brought his sleeve closer to his hand to cover his bloody scars.
He heard the familiar sound of his phone ringing and took out his phone to see who it was.
'Eddie <3' was marked on the top of his phone with two options on the bottom. Answer or Ignore. Aleks nervously bit his lip, should he answer?
He huffed at the thought, as if arguing with a second part of himself and put the phone back in his jeans pocket, not bothering to select either two of the options.
He looked at the ground as he made the swing he was sitting on go backwards using his feet. He repeated the actions a few more times until he got himself to the height he wanted, which wasn't very high. He wanted to relax himself, not have fun. He put his legs on the swinging platform carefully as to not fall.
And there he stayed, curled up in a ball as he swung gently in a deserted park. He received text messages and calls but he just left his phone in his pocket.
'Not fun, is it?' Aleks thought bitterly as if he was talking to the one who supposedly cared for him.
He reached out for his phone and muted the sounds, tired of all the tunes that it boomed when he received a text or call.
The only sound that was heard was his slow, relaxed breathing. Even though he could convince anyone that he was fine by the way he looked, he wasn't. At all.
Inside, Aleks was screaming and punching things, crying and sobbing. What surprised the conflicted man was the fact that, beneath the rage, sadness and desperation in his heart, he still loved Eddie. He still loved him with what all of what was left of his bruised and beaten heart, he was sure of it. He knew that, as much as he tried, he could never stay mad at Eddie forever. For now, yes, he was still completely enraged but it wouldn't be like this forever.
He knew that, soon enough, he would blame himself again, again and again. Time after time, he would punish himself and curse the day that he was born. But, for now, all he could do was grieve, grieve and cry.
With tears streaming down his eyes was the way that Aleks fell asleep, and he assumed it wouldn't be the last time either.
Dream:
Aleks woke up feeling pain all over his body. He groaned and tried to recognize his location.
He was in a large room. It was cold and dark. So dark that his eyes couldn't manage to see anything that told him where he was.
So he waited there, sucking in the pain that coursed through his veins.
Soon, a door, at what he assumed was the other end of the room, opened.
A silhouette entered, closing the door after they entered. It got closer and closer to Aleks, he could tell by the sound of approaching footsteps. When the footsteps stopped, the dark figure turned a lantern on, revealing the man's all too familiar face.
Eddie chuckled bitterly, "Well, look who's awake."
Aleks opened his mouth to say something but shut it after, preferring to stay in silence.
"What's wrong, Immortal? Cat got your tongue?" he mocked, a smirk on his face.
"Where am I? Who did this to me?" Aleks inquired.
"First, that's confidential. Second, well a lot of people."
"Who?" he demanded.
Eddie answered him by leaning down, close to his face and kissing him. A shocked Aleks kissed back, needy and hungrily.
