I'm What?!

        I looked over and saw Eli passed out on a chair next to me and Luke and Patrick were sleeping on a couch looking thing at the other side of the room. I stretched out and groaned as my tight muscles loosened. I must've woke Eli up because he was basically jumping on top of me. I hugged him and pushed him off me. "What's going on?" I asked him, my voice scratchy.

        "You wouldn't wake up. We got scared and took you to the hospital. We have to wait and see what's wrong before we can go." He explained to me. I could tell he was really worried because he was shaking and had tears stains on his cheeks. We waited a few minutes and the doctor walked in. He smiled at me and looked at my file thingy, suddenly frowning. "That's never good." I heard Eli mumble.

        "Uh, River. You are a strange one." The doctor said and let out a nervous laugh. "This is kinda personal, I don't know if you would want me to share this information with everyone."

        "It's my best friends and my boyfriend. I don't care if they hear something personal." I told him.

        "River, have you had sex in the last month or so?" He asked me and I nodded. I didn't care if everyone knew that. They already all knew that anyway. Yes, I kiss and tell. The doctor nodded and went on with his questions. "Was it with a guy?"

        "Yeah."

        "Were you bottom?"

        "Yes."

        "When you were younger did your parents ever tell you anything that was..... weird about your body?" He asked. This one confused me greatly. What did he mean by 'weird'? I was convinced that I was half horse or something. I shook my head at him. "Well, River. It seems you were born, different from others. Instead of having just your male reproductive system, you also have a female's reproductive system. This is very rare, but has happened. Most of the time, they just stay there or your body rejects them. At first, I thought you were rejecting them. But turns out, you have a very rare condition."

        "Which is?" I asked impatiently.

        "Your female reproductive system works. This is probably due to medication taken during the pregnancy. This has happened before, but only like 20 times. Only 15 have been successful, or weren't terminated. What I'm trying to get to is that you, River, are pregnant." He explained and clapped his hands. I have never heard such silence after that. No one spoke, no one moved, it didn't even sound like anyone was breathing. It was like the world ended and only we were left, sitting in shock.

        "I'm what?" I whispered.

        "I know this is a shock, being a 18 year old male and all. But I do still need to check everything over by doing an ultrasound." He informed me. A nurse rolled a large machine into the room and left. "River can you please lift up your shirt? This is gonna be cold." The doctor told me. I lifted my shirt to my chest and he squirted some gel onto my stomach. "How long ago did you have condomless bottom sex?"

        "About a month ago." I told him, my voice quiet and raspy.

        "It's still too early to hear a heartbeat so we just kinda gotta look at it, make sure nothing is wrong with it's position and such." He explained but I wasn't really paying attention. I just kept thinking, You're having a baby. You're gonna be a parent. There's someone living inside of you. The biggest one was, Who's the dad?

        As the doctor felt around on my stomach, I gasped out, "Oh my god." Everyone surrounded me in a huge panic. I tried to calm everyone down and assure them everything was ok, but they didn't go very far away from me when we went back to what we were doing. The doctor finished his checkup, telling us that the baby was alright. I nodded and he left so I could get dressed.

        "What was wrong earlier?" Eli asked me.

        "Uh, nothing." I lied. He narrowed his eyes at me. I sighed. "You know how a month ago I came to you crying because Kayson was being an ass and we had sex?" He nodded. "I had sex with both of you that day."

        "And?" Eli asked, obviously not getting it.

        "Sex makes babies. I had sex with you both." I tried again to explain. Eli obviously was too tired to understand or still in shock from what had happened.

        "For the love of god, Eli!" I heard Luke, who I had forgotten was standing there, yell. "He doesn't know which one of you is the father."

        "Oh." He squeaked. I nodded. "Alright, well because of that, we need to tell Kayson. Make sure he knows that he may be a dad." I nodded and started leaving when the doctor came back in a handed me an envelope.

        "Inside is a sonogram picture of your baby and a prescription for some prenatal vitamins." He told me and lead us to leave. Surprisingly, they allowed Luke's parents to come in a check me out of the hospital since they basically care for me.

        We got home and I called Kayson and told him he had to get to my house because of an emergency. He reluctantly said he was coming and got to my house in a matter of minutes. As soon as he saw the others, he looked even more pissed off than before. "What is this? You gonna jump me or something?" He asked, holding out his arms as if to say 'Come at me.'

        "No, we aren't jumping you. But we need to talk." I informed him and he sat down on the loveseat. Everyone else crammed themselves on the couch with me, not wanting to sit near him. "So you know, a month ago we slept together. I also slept with Eli. And I'm pregnant." I just came straight out and said. Kayson looked like he saw a ghost or something.

        "Are you serious? Like, I'm not gonna question that you are pregnant, because one of the guys in my gang was pregnant but he terminated it. But, is this a joke?" He asked.

        "I'm serious." I said and handed him the sonogram picture.

        "It's either me or Eli's kid?" He asked, but it kinda came out as a statement. I watched as he stared at the little blob on the sonogram. "Wow." He whispered.

        "Yeah." We literally all said at the same time and kinda laughed.

        "So, what now?" He asked. "Want money? You can have it. But I'm not all that ready to spend time with you 24-7 and then find out that the baby ain't mine. So, I'll send you money. Call me if ya need anything." He told me and just kinda walked out the door.

        "He is such a fucking ass." I heard Patrick muttered and I nodded.

        "Eh, who needs him?" Eli told me and kissed my temple. "I'll stay with you, even if it is Kayson's kid."

        "Thanks, Eli." I replied.

        "Welcome, love." He said and kissed me.

        "Let's go before they start ripping each other's clothes off." Luke said and they retreated to his room. And the clothes came off.
