Chapter 8: Hillstone's Toes

A man stood in front of Chris as he opened his eyes. The man looked like Shane, but with a hat that was backwards in and it read Death.

"And you. Who the fuck are you?" Chris asked.

"Your community shall fall. Your lives shall go. You shall perish. We the Murmurs have not compassion for the weak. Who knew you guys were crap?" The man said.

"Who the fuck are you!" Chris yelled. Walkers began to enter as the man stood in a car watching Chris stand up.

"I'm Murray. Leader of the Murmurs. We wish to live, but unlike you, we wish to live as masters. At this point, you are my slaves." Murray said taking out his lead pipe and handgun.

Hans kept running towards Chris and Murray.

"Get the hell out of my community!" Hans said.

"Nope." Murray said shooting Hans in the leg as he fell walkers ate him.

Chris began to run toward the houses as Murray shot him. More Murmurs kept entering the gates.

Elicia grabbed him and ran with him to the clinic. Dr. Perry was taking care of Mark's shoulders. Now Chris. Camille came down to the clinic. Norris took the other tower.

The tower that Troy was with the sniper felt down to the ground.

Murray kept shooting. Hit shot down Larry in his legs. He kept crawling as Murray got close and used is lead pipe to break Larry's bones. Nothing was left of Larry, except his skeleton.

Norris kept shooting and shot Murray in the back. Murmurs grabbed and the whole group evacuated. Now the walkers remained.

The entire walls fall. The houses caught fire. Most citizens died inside their houses. Chris and his group left on three jeeps. Damian took the RV.

Chris and his group went to the Gas Station that Hilda's group used. The now had limited food and began to ration it.

2 Weeks Later

Chris and he group managed to secure the gas station by making small barricades. They armed themselves and began to march to the Murmurs Compound.

Murray stood at the top of the walls.

"Welcome Hillstone. Stand beneath me. Stand under my toes, filthy citizens." Murray yelled to the marching army.

"No. You stand under our toes. Under Hillstone's Toes." Chris said. "Charge!"

Chris and his group threw grenades out to the fences. The took down both towers with RPG that Daryl used. Murray's army began to retaliate.

One of the shots hit April's shoulder. Dr. Perry got to cover to threat April's shoulder. Murray was shot down from the fence by Camille. Norris went running to him and began to fist his face.

Murray's face got almost destroy. His nose was broken. Then Troy got near and shot Murray in the face.

The group destroyed the entire Murmurs Compound and left back to the Gas station were they found someone.

"Makena?" Makenzie asked

"Sister!" She said running to hug her sister.

"I'm glad you are back, Makena Delov." Makenzie said

"We are twin sisters." Makena said to the group.

"Nice to know." Damian said.

"Let's head out." Chris said.

They got on the jeeps and went onwards to North Carolina.

On the way they found walkers they killed using knives and machetes.

Norris and Camille had the sniper rifles. Daryl kept his crossbow. The RV was full of some citizens from Hillstone that managed to survive.

"We are low on food." Troy said to Chris as he drove past a sign 'Welcome to North Carolina'

"I know. Here in my apartment, if it still exists, I left some food. Lots of it." Chris said.

"Is it far? What about the Gasoline the jeeps need?" Troy said.

"Is not far. And I have plenty of gas stored underground." Chris said.

"Did you planned this shit?" Damian called from the RV.

"Nop. I just loved the buy lots of food for my daughter. She lived with her aunt." Chris said.

"She was the first person who turn and I had to kill. She helped me survive and I met up with Hillary on the road." Camille said.

"Poor sister of mine." Chris said.

"Do you have antibiotics?" Dr. Clarissa Perry said.

"We can find some in the near pharmacy." Chris said.

"I wish you were right." Troy said pointing at the military tank and some soldiers.

"Stop it right there, gentlemen!" A man shouted through the speaker.

"I'm sorry, officer 'Evans'." Chris said getting down.

Officer Evans grabbed his handgun.

"Don't move a fucking muscle." Evans said.

Chris got closer to him. Almost breathing into his breath.

"Or what?" Chris said.

"You son of a bitch." Evans said.

Chris took out his axe and slashed it against Evans face.

The other guard tried to grabbed his gun but got shot twice by Norris.

"What do you want? We have the entire goddamm state under the National Guard. If you kill me.." Evans voice was stopped by Chris pulling out his Python. He pointed at Evans face.

"Please. I beg mercy." Evans said.

"Bullshit." Chris shot him in the face.

Chris got into his jeep and nobody said a word. Chris was beginning to lose his sanity. They headed to the apartments and grabbed a truck. They packed all the food and everyone from the other two jeeps got in.

Chris' jeep went forward being followed by the RV and the Truck of food. They continue onwards past North Carolina and into Virginia...
