"It's going to be fine, mom. I'm going to be fine. Don't worry about me.." I say to my worried mother.
"I know but I'm just going to miss you so much." Mom says.
I'm in the car with my family and they're dropping me off at the airport. I'm leaving my hometown of Seattle, Washington and moving to Los Angeles, California for a new life.
Dad parks the car and everyone gets out. Dad takes the luggage out of the car and pats me on your back. "Well, y/n I guess this is it.. I love you." Dad says. And I can feel the tears rising.
My siblings hug me and say their individual goodbyes. Mom looks into my eyes. She plays with my hair and fixes it a little. "I love you honey call when you get there. Okay? And be safe. And don't forget to take your medicine." Mom says as gives me a tight hug.
I look at my family one last time. And turn around carrying my luggage and ticket and walk into the airport.
