The Secret I Never Told You

Chapter 7

                                                                ~Third Person~

The 20-year-old woman slipped on her coat and tied her son's shoelaces.Meanwhile, at the airport, two young men just arrived from a long flight.They quickly set out to the hotel.The young woman grabbed an umbrella and took her son's hand.She felt odd today.Something big was about to happen, she could feel it.

"Mommy where are we going?" asked Laurence.

"IHop Rence." smiled Alex.

"Yay!" cheered the cute little boy.They set out to their destination.

                                     ~Jax~

"I'm hungry!" Dakota whined.I rolled my eyes at him.

"Fine, let's go to IHop."Dakota quickly searched up the nearest IHop.He started running and I chased after him.We walked in and sat down.The waitress started to flirt with us.Dakota rolled his eyes after she left and pushed his abs up and pretended to flip his "long" hair.I laughed and looked at the menu.

           "What to order?" pondered Dakota.He started to look at the kid's menu.

"You're such a kid."

"Why do you think I'm looking at the kid's menu."He laughed.

"What would you handsome men like to order?" asked the waitress.She bit her bottom lip and leaned against our table.

"I'll have a cheeseburger please." answered Dakota.

"I'll have blueberry pancakes." I told her without looking up.She nodded and left.I leaned into the table.

"Do you think we'll find her?" I whispered.

"Of course we will!Where else can we find her?"Dakota exclaimed.

"Keep it down!" I shushed him.People turned to look at us weirdly.

"I just we find her." I sighed. Me too.

                                                         ~Alex~

"Are we gonna get Wuncle Wabe?" asked Laurence.

"Yes sweetie." I smiled down at him as we walked to Gabe's apartment.We finally reached his complex and knocked on his door.We heard a crash and then the door opened.

"I'm ready!" Gabe shouted as he buttoned his shirt.I giggled.

"It's just IHop Ape." I smiled when he rolled his eyes at my nickname for him.He was so dressed up.Gabe wore slacks and a white button-up shirt.

"Let's just go, I'm hungry." He said and walked out.Laurence hugged him.Well Laurence hugged Gabe's knees.Gabe smiled and picked him up.We walked to IHop and the waitress sat us down.My wolf was going crazy for some reason.Mate's here!  Don't be crazy.He can't be here.  Yes he is!  He's not our mate anyways.He rejected us remember?  

         My wolf stayed quiet after that.

"So bud, what would you like?'' Gabe asked Laurence.Laurence licked his lips and looked through the menu hungrily.

"Everything!" Laurence exclaimed.We laughed at his cuteness.

"Only one thing Rence." I laughed.Laurence pouted.Just then a wonderful scent hit my nose.A familiar scent.My eyes widened.Told you so! 

"Are you ok Lex?" Gabe asked.

"I-I think he's h-h-here." Gabe's eyes widened.

"Who's here?" asked Laurence.The scent got closer and closer until I saw him.That handsome face that I was meant to caress and kiss.His eyes scanned everywhere.He's looking for us.  I know.  My breathe hitched when our eyes locked.His eyes turned darker and lips lifted into a smile.He started fast walking towards our table.I turned to Gabe with panicked eyes.

"What do we do now?" He asked.

"I don't know."

"Mommy who are we talking about?" Laurence asked, clueless that he about to meet his dad moments away.Jax looked angry at the sight of Gabe.He finally reached our table and my wolf wanted to kiss him, hug him and tell him that we love him. 

"Alex?" He smooth voice asked hopefully.

"H-h-hi J-jax." I stuttered.He picked me up and hugged me.

"Alex, I missed you so much!" He smiled and kissed my cheek.Laurence looked confused and I couldn't read Gabe's expression.

"Put my mommy down!" exclaimed Laurence.Jax frowned and put me back down.

"You have a son?" Oh God.I knew this was gonna happen soon.

"Jax would you like to come to my house?"
