Bubbles

Save me,
I'm drowning,
In this carbonated water.
Suffocating,
As I fall,
Once again to the bottom.
Consuming weakness,
Overwhelms me,
As I try to get back up.
I hold on,
For dear life,
To the side of the glass.
Watching others,
As they float,
Right to the top.
It seems,
So far away,
For a weakling like me.
So foreseeable,
An easy goal,
For the stronger ones.
Slipping,
My grip fails,
As I sink again.
But no,
I don't give up,
I try again.
I'm stuck,
In this limbo,
A continuing cycle.
Save me,
I'm drowning,
In this carbonated water.
